Quote:...and they said the bathrooms had issues with the plumbing or something, and said the sight lines weren't as good as other stadiums they have been in.
Quote:Who said Everbank had "Bad sight lines"? YOU DID, GENIUS!!!!!!! ^^^
Funny how people twist words.
I'll ignore your idiotic "insecure" comment - and let you work that out in counseling....
Quote:No, you haven't accepted that teams don't tank. That's why YOU are on this thread pouting and stamping YOUR foot because the Jags didn't play along with the fantasy in your head.
LOL, no Indy didn't tank for Luck......Houstons not tanking.....Basketball teams don't tank, either....
'k.
Quote:Oh, so none of those 3 things said is true?
(not sure how the one thing they said could even be proven false since they were going by THEIR experiences in stadiums) .gif)
This is rich. .gif)
The hypersensitivity that just cropped up from some of you is nuts
A plumbing issue was widely reported in the media following the game. So what? The concourses are big enough to drive trucks throughout the stadium, so either your friends are so big that doesn't provide them with adequate clearance, or once again, you're spouting ignorance. The sight lines in the stadium are fine from any angle. I've sat in every section of the stadium over the years for games, and I've never had a bad seat. I would know this because I've actually been there, whereas you continue to show the world just how clueless you are.
This isn't about being hypersensitive or insecure. It's about having zero tolerance for sheer stupidity, and you're laying it on pretty thick right now.

They said that "they've seen better" (based on their experiences) that doesn't mean that Everbank "had bad sight lines".
Wow, is everyone this insecure down there?
I'm almost embarrassed for you man. You don't even have the sense to know how foolish you come off.
Quote:I'm not concerned about the level of competition. Good players are found where they're found. Bridgewater is a promising prospect. He may very well be the best QB in the upcoming draft. We'll see.
Now, are you a proponent of tanking to get him, or would you prefer to see your team trying to be competitive? I think I know where you stand, but maybe I'm wrong.
When all hope for a playoff season is lost, I'd prefer superior draft position to inferior draft positon.
While tanking raises some ethical/moral concerns, they are minor if it leads to your team landing the franchise QB. Most people have moral problems with drug use. There is not a single Giants fan who would be willing to surrender the Lawrence Taylor era Lombardi trophies because Taylor used drugs. There is not a single Skins fan who would surrender any trophies won with Dexter Manley. There is not a single Dallas fan who would give back any of the 3 Lombardi trophies won with Michael Irvin on the roster.
Do I think this team NEEDS to tank? Not necessarily. This team lacks talent across the board. It's still possible for this team to get the #1 overall pick without "tanking."
Now, when this team has its franchise QB and has a young nucleus that is "learning to win," then I'm all for it.
Example-fast forward to next year. Assume the Jaguars manage to get Bridgewater, Mariota, or whomever and adds a few more pieces. Due to inexperience, the rookies and younger players make mistakes that cost them games early in the season and put the team out of contention. However, during the losing , you see signs these guys could become something-kinda like what you are seeing now with Cyprien, Gratz, and Branch. Over the course of the second half of the season, the franchise QB plays well, the other guys are coming around, and this team improves to 6-10 to 7-9...I'm fine with it. I was fine with it when Dallas made the step from 1-15 to 7-9 in 1990. I was fine with the leap the Jaguars made from 1995-1996 and would have been fine even if we had lost to Atlanta. I was fine with the leap the Jaguars made from 2003-2004, even though the team wound up missing the playoffs.
However, with the pronounced lack of playmakers/overall talent this team has, I want the QB-or at minimum the game changing defender. That will likely only come with superior draft position.
Quote:Clearly it wasn't you because you wouldn't know what the sight lines are like at the stadium.
...it wasn't me, nor was it them.
No one claimed that the sight lines in Everbank were "bad", yet thats what claimed was said.
Looks like you're flailing now.

'k.
Houston isn't tanking. That's like saying Kansas City tanked last year.

....no actually I did not.
I guess you have trouble reading.

Someone needs to contact the American Medical Association because with all the twisting you're doing right now, it's clear you're the first documented case of a human existing without a spine...or much of a brain for that matter.
You comment on the sight lines based on your imaginary friends opinion, then try to slow walk it back by parsing words. That's what spineless weasels do. So, are you a spineless weasel?
Quote:Houston isn't tanking. That's like saying Kansas City tanked last year.
There was no prospect at the top of the draft worth tanking for last year.
In the 2012 draft there was.
In the 2014 draft, there is.

I made a really huge leap there from "better sight lines elsewhere" to "bad sight lines"
Sorry to offend your delicate sensibilities. This thread doesn't even make sense anymore. Nicely done. Y'all have fun.
I'm OUT !!

They claimed they've seen better. Maybe they have - what do you know??? And saying that does =/= to saying that "Everbank has bad sight lines". Either your comprehension is terrible or you are purposely looking for something to whine about.

It was, at the very least, implied.
Side note: I went to the Bucs Dolphins game this season and that stadium is AWFUL compared to EverBank. Seats were practically in the middle of the stairs and you couldn't see a thing from where I was sitting. I've only been to a couple of games at each stadium though, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

What do I know? I know the sight lines at EverBank pretty well. Something you know nothing about, btw.
My comprehension is just fine. There's clearly a breakdown between the seat and the keyboard where you're concerned.

LOL, do you really think that Everbank has the best sight lines OF ANY OTHER STADIUM in the world?!!?!?! Because otherwise, thats the only way you could possibly take what they said as an insult or to equate it as you did.....

You are 100% correct. Dolphins stadium in fact does have horrible sight lines. Too far away. Its probably because it wasn't built as a football only stadium.
Quote:Dolphins stadium in fact does have horrible sight lines. That is 100% true.
The Bucs Dolphins game was in Tampa this season. I've never been to a game in Miami's stadium.
