Quote:says the guy with the AJ McCarron sig.

I couldn't care less what you think. I've seen all but one of Teddy's games this season.... (not that this really means all that much to me). Its like "atburg" feels insecure because someone might have watched Teddy play more than he does. Almost like a "how much do you bench" kinda thing. Apparently he watches, yet if you don't understand what you are watching, then whats it matter??
Im insecure? This is coming from the guy who buries himself in a box of tissues everytime someone does not share the same opinion?

BTW, still waiting for your breakdown on McCarron! Really love your insight on other prospects.

Quote:Didn't he also once say Gabbert/Blackmon was going to be the next Aikman/Irvin?
dont forget dan lefevour lol
Quote:Translation:

After Manning and Luck, he believes that Bridgewater is the best QB prospect to come out since 1998.  Putting him above the likes of the other 1st round prospects taken in that time period.  As prospects, and not their actual careers.
And yet, still not close to being correct!
Teddy involved in a possible DUI causing bodily harm.

Quote:For 99% of the draft, that would be correct.

However, When theres a differencemaker of the caliber of a Manning/ Luck/ Aikman/ Bridgewater at the top of the draft, they do. And you'd be deluding yourself to think otherwise.

To compare Bridgewater to any of them is ridiculous. He hasn't played a snap against decent competition, and will play 1000x better competition at the NFL level, consistently. You can say he's a promising prospect, but to compare him to manning and aikman, is just you hyping up "your guy". Ludicrous.
Wait wait wait... You're telling me that Teddy B doesn't play in the SEC? Screw that. I'm sick of drafting all these scrub players from scrub schools in scrub conferences. SEC or bust!

Yeah but only after LeFevour / Dillard didn't turn into the next Montana / Rice.

Yes the dog did compare him to 2 Hall of Famers and luck looks to be a future shoe in so 3 possible HOF's.  Bridgewater may not even be the best Qb in this draft.

Aside from the fact that Caldwell may end up seeing Clowney as better value.

Blackmon 2.0?

I really think it's too early to call Luck a shoe-in for anything. I think he's a good QB but I was honestly expecting bigger strides from him this year. I've seen quite a few 'what the hell?' moments this year.

Quote:Blow apart? You've found one example of a third round QB turning into a possibly top 5 guy at his position. Your next move is to bring up Tom Brady from more than a decade back.

Not to confuse you with more math, but the odds of repeating this on demand are really really bad. Thus the analogy of the lottery winner. Sorry this wasn't clear enough for you.
Never once did I mention Brady, however I did ask for facts to back up your claims. Which never came.

Im starting to realize why you went with "basic math". They havent started teaching any of the tough stuff yet, like division.

I think people are using hindsight when they talk about Peyton as being "hyped"

Yes wasnt Ryan Leaf just as hyped as Peyton was ?
I wonder how many people now bashing Bridgewater will be hyping him up if we draft him.

Gabbert would retire on a hit like that.

1st overall.  I remember there were arguements about whether the colts would take Manning or Leaf.

Its not so much bashing him, as many on here have stated many times! I have said 50 times, I will be 100% behind him if he comes here. He is a great qb, its you and your fellow tankers who come on and trash anyone who has not dedicated a church to the guy. Let the freakin season play itself out!!! That is the issue here.

Then my statement obviously doesn't apply to you.  :thanks:
