Quote:So you want a fanbase who has suffered through 3 years of bad football suffer through more bad football for "the legend" Bridgewater? I see nothing wrong with this team approving and wins resulting from the improvement.
newsflash: that game Sunday that they won 13-6 was "bad football" too....
not sure you understand this.

Of course the Colts tanked to get Luck. Why is there 45 pages of argument about it? Next you'll tell me Oswald shot Kennedy and Neil Armstrong landed on the moon.

Did anyone here Bradley's quote about potentially playing Gabbert? That gives me hope that the tank may be on.

Quote:When was Manning ever down to the lame offensive weapons that the Colts currently are putting out there as a starting lineup??
He always at least had a Harrison/ Wayne or both. As well as a better running game than they have now.
Luck's inability to hit players on his deeper passes has nothing to do with the WR talent he has or does not have, champ. Also, it goes to show you that your infatuation of getting the #1 pick doesn't guarantee championships.
Luck may very well have success, but he's not yet even near an elite QB like Breese, Brady, or Manning. And with the way Irsay is running that organization of late, we might see a slump in the coming years. He may yet become elite, but without other pieces, he'll be beatable.
The c'lots gave up their 1st round pick for a RB that looks to be a joke. But using your logic, since they got Luck and he's a great prospective QB its all good. That's not how you build a consistent winner. I'd rather have a front office that thinks the "Greater Good" occurs by preparing NOW for the future.
You don't become a success by deferring greatness now for greatness later. You become a success by demanding the best at all times. It's what winners call having an "edge" or "pride". I thought I'd give you some insight on that; seems like you never learned that lesson in life from your days in school, sports, or work. :whistling: :teehee:

Which would be the coach putting his team in position to fail. Which isn't going to happen. And you know that.

I don't know how many Jaguar games you've watched this year... But the last few games have had much less "bad football" than the first couple months of what we've had to suffer through.
OBTW, we hung pretty tough with AZ last week, the same team that smoked the golden boy this Sunday.
Not sure if you were awake yesterday to understand that... Just an FYI for ya... :woot: :whistling:

I don't know why you'd assume/ interpret that I take pleasure from Jags losses. If you saw me watching the losses, especially early in the season, I don't think you'd continue with that assumption.
I have seen good "effort" by the team all season. Thats not something I have issue with.

uhm.....so we can then lose out the last 5 games, and then get Bridgewater & start winning consistently for a change....

LOL, of course they got smoked a lot early in the year...their schedule was brutal. People act as if they are almost truly surprised to see the Jags playing better football within the last 3 weeks....I remember saying as far back as September that the 2nd half of the schedule was MUCH easier and we'd see much closer games than the blowout losses that were occurring. But noooo, everyone was so caught up in the "WORST TEAM EVARRR" hyperbole nonsense....

I am at Everbank for every win or loss (mostly losses lately) and happy to be there. I am just going from your persona on the board which seems to be an angry non-Jags fan? If you loved the Jags you would not be so negative it seems to me...

uhhhhhhh.............................
You missed my point, or decided to gloss over it and answer something completely different.
Let me spell it out for you with my telestrator:
We played Arizona last week. The c'lots played Arizona this week (yesterday)
How did we do against Arizona?
How did the c'lots do?

Aha. This board kills me sometimes. "Let's cut the only premium offensive talent we have because he smoked a plant" and "Might as well win as many as we can, wouldn't do to actually have a shot at an elite QB for once". I swear sometimes, the people on this board would way rather the Jaguars be a group of scrubs than not.

Am I angry? lol uh yeah!!!.....this team has been mostly bad for the better part of 14 straight seasons. Honestly I don't know how more of you aren't as tired of it as I am. I want to see something that can change things for the better - and long term. And that something is a franchise QB, and the best chance for us to find that is Teddy. And the best chance for us to get Teddy is by getting the #1 pick.
