Especially when there's a house on top of it! These folks up here spell cave funny though. They call it a "basement".
Weird.
I put in my request for the Bartram Trail High School practice.
They're letting me attend anyway.

financing is crazy right now, It was a nightmare to finance our home a couple months ago. literally up until the day we closed I was on pins and needles, even had the Uhaul all packed up and in the driveway of the home we where supposed to buy for about a week waiting for the final ok to close.
Never plan on doing that again!

Try financing when you don't have a paycheck!

The tricky thing is that it's a renovation finance, so it's even more complicated. Apparently, underwriting is where the ground fell out from under their feet.

ugh I can't even imagine! I was glad that I wasn't "self employed" the broker made it sound like that would've been next to impossible.

Was it an FHA loan? We tried to purchase a fixer up using an FHA specialty loan (there's a number for it 223 or something like that) but we ended up abandoning that idea because it was becoming impossible to do.

It's not really difficult. Just run fast and keep your face turned away from the security cameras.

It's one of the dumbest things I've ever dealt with. Through an Ag Lender you can borrow well into the hundreds of thousands but if you want to just buy a regular home for 150K or whatever, its next to impossible. "You don't have any record of paychecks!"
It doesn't make any sense. And how a regular bank can thrive in my area without lending to farmers I have no clue.
