That's why I asked since looking at your location. That is by far the better of the two Chinese places. (If the one by publix is even still there)
I like the rangoons!!

I usually don't go home that way but I knew the gas was cheaper at the Racetrack on Phillips. I usually stop at a place by the same name on SR13 across from Publix.

I'll take being right through false reasoning.
Last time I was in the one by Winn Dixie there was this girl ( not even sure if she was school aged) trying to get my wife and my attention. Making noises and eventually fell off a chair. I was wondering if that was the girl you were referring to.
Just looked back, your talking about the one that took the order. I just assumed (silly me) since we were talking about DF it was the even littler girl.
Quote:And right now at the Metro Diner in Mandarin. Regular Saturday morning 'date' for Mrs. C and me. About a 95% chance you'll see us in here this time on Saturdays.
Looooooove Metro breakfasts.
Where is the one in Mandarin?

Just before you cross over the Julington Creek bridge on San Jose.
So I went to the Florida Senior State Bowling Tournament in Clearwater this past weekend. Ugh...senior tournament...don't even like saying that.
However, my doubles event partner and myself are currently tied for 23rd. Not too shabby out of 440 entries. We'll win some money, just not sure how much. I'm guessing in the $100 apiece range. Still two weekends left so we could drop a little.

I had a reply to this, but I erased it for fear of going to hell!!
I'm a bad, bad Bunny!!
There's also two weekends left for you to move up!
Or others to fall back..

No. You only bowl one weekend and get what you get. So at this point, the only possibility would be for us to drop a bit if others bowl better in the next two weekends. Even if we do, we'll still make out OK.
Either way. We go out of town to hang out with friends for the weekend and if we happen to do well....bonus.

Oh, well hopefully you weren't the 23rd pair to have bowled. Have you thought about Tanya Hardin-ing the people that haven't bowled yet?
Good luck. Hope you don't drop too far.
I'm in a few leagues. Between 205 and 210.

Yeah, my average is about 340. I try not to brag about it but I'm kind of a big deal.

You probably need to lose some weight then.
To get 'back in touch with his city', Detroit news reporter Charlie LeDuff found an unusual way to get reacquainted. He decided to golf the 18 miles from one end of town to the other.. The 46-year old Pulitzer Prize winning reporter played through abandoned houses and buildings, grassy fields, and crumbling landmarks. His score to get from one end of the city to the other - 2,525 strokes.
Just be glad some of y'all are in J-Ville
