I'm not sure how much there is to tell... He was taking his son and his sons friend down on my property to hunt songdogs and somehow put one clean through his foot lol. He mentioned something about catching the gun on a branch but it didn't really make sense to me.
I'm not really nosey by nature so I didn't ask many questions, (although I did find it a bit humorous since he's a LEO of sorts), I just tried to make sure he wasn't bleeding out or something crazy and took him to the hospital and got the boys home. There actually wasn't even that much blood.
I imagine he's going to hear about it for a looooooooooooong time at work though. I'm going to see if I can find the bullet for him tomorrow
