Quote:I'll be coming back from Pittsburgh. Much more scenic drive through the mountains in Virginia and the Carolinas. Only in Philly until Christmas Eve morning.
And to your point. Once you pass Richmond there ain't squat but pine trees until you get to Savannah.
What (main) road do you take returning back from Pittsburgh? (95 being a straight shot). 81 kinda goes parallel to the mountains so do you have to take a bunch of state roads?

Nope. US19 for maybe 50 miles in western PA and WV. Then I79 to I77 to I26 to I95 in mid-SC. It's only maybe an hour longer than from Philly.
I've taken I81 into I77 before, but that's kinda out of the way but a much nicer drive than down I95.

Amen and amen. I think I age about five years every time that I drive through South Carolina on 95. Just mind-numbing.
Hope you guys make it safe.

Don't forget, I'll be waving when I go through Richmond on Saturday. As a reminder, I'll be the guy in the car. To make me easier to spot, I'll be the guy in the car with his wife in the passenger's seat.

Got it. I got my chair set up in the median and everything.
You sure are lucky that your wife allows you to drive her around like that.

If you saw her drive, you'd realize that I am the lucky one.

Drive through Nebraska lengthwise.

I drove to Canada and back one year, Montana > Wyoming > Utah > Nevada isn't any peach either. Unless, you love desert scenery.
Try Hitch-Hiking Tennessee from Bristol to Memphis
I love looking at my bank account right after I've gotten my paycheck.

I get paid once a year. So I do too, but 8 months later it's a completely different feeling when I take a look.

WHat do you do? (for a living)
I rode past the state pen in Raiford this afternoon and there was dozens of huge vultures circling and soaring around it. Is there an execution scheduled for today?
:woot:

Did you see me? I waved. You looked like you were asleep though.
I'm in Philly getting drunk in Pizzeria Uno now. My brother in law is driving. Awesome!!!
Here's a quick question that has suddenly become relevant to my situation: If a recipe for pancake batter says to add two eggs, but the first egg you add has two yolks, do you still add the second egg?

Are they the same size yolks? If not, I'd add the second egg anyway..
I've heard about two yolks coming from one egg before, never seen one though.
