There is no doubt that those nasty cigarette yellow smoking lounges they have are portals to hell. I'm convinced I have seen dead people in there smoking.

I'm confused....
They exist, mostly outside the US but a few have penetrated the land of at-will employment.

I had to go through Dulles DC to get to Jacksonville in 2009. Concourse C/D is disgustingly boring I genuinely feared it would render me impotent. It was breath of fresh air arriving at Jacksonville International.
I once heard an airport described as being designed around the principle of "three lefts make a better right."
Quote:I was stunned too. Though it might havy something to do with returning it at 6PM on a sunday.
.....or, that you smashed it up. :whistling:

Ever been to either LAX or DFW? Mother of God.
I actually liked Atlanta - other than being half dead and being seated next to missionaries.

No to LAX but yes to DFW. Been to that one many times...my BFF lives in Dallas. I never had too much of a problem there. Miami was worse to me...lol
Quote:The logistics of this place are amazing. I never have problems here.
Great, I just jinxed myself.
I've experienced both extremes when connecting thru ATL. - And a few shades of in-between.
I'll go the extra mile to avoid it if I can though. (Finding direct flights even for a bit more $$ or flying out of JFK instead of LGA)
most of the LGA - ATL flights are full and/or oversold. Often this translates to less comfort in flight or spending miles on an upgrade.
Logistically - it's laid out well. - but unfortunately most of the airline employees there have their heads up each other's butts and treat customers like cattle headed to slaughter.

Maybe it's just coincidence then but multiple times I've had to power walk/jog around DFW to catch my connection. It takes like 30 minutes to get around the damn thing!
Miami is a lot like McCarron in Vegas. Just so many sad souls looking disheveled and shiny haha.
My worst experience was catching a connection in Mexico. I'm not even sure where it was. Actually, now that I think about it the Mexican connection and one of my bad DFW connections were the same trip haha!

The last time I went through Dallas I was on my way to Cabo!
