Good grief. Some of you need to get a life.
Trevor was always going to have another bad game and guess what…. He will have another one at some point too.
Dude is clearly the best QB from that class and has every single tool you want from your franchise guy. He’s 22 man.
Give it up with the trolling because it distracts from actual discussion.
It’s amazing that we live in a world where fans of such a bloody game like football legitimately can’t take criticism about their terrible players.
1. This is actually my first account and any mod here can IP check and prove this
2. What metric says that Trevor is the best QB from his class?
Overall arm talent: That’s obviously Zach Wilson
Overall athleticism: Thats obviously Justin Fields
Overall accuracy: that’s obviously Mac Jones
Overall QB IQ: that’s obviously Mac Jones
Ability to read NFL defense: Mac Jones
Ability to lead the WR: Mac Jones
Please let’s have the discussion without the “yOuR a TrOlL” bush league nonsense
You're a troll because you only show up after a bad game with something to try and fit your narrative. Where were you the last two weeks? Where's your data for the above points? You claim by metrics but post none.

I agree he was good college as the article points out but just like other predraft forecast that had him billed as a “generational talent” they are wrong.
the things projected from college haven’t translated to the nfl because if they did we wouldn’t be having this discussion.
But seriously are you the “troll”? Because posting predraft analysis is the heights of stupidity when the topic of discussion is Trevors nfl play
regardless didnt bill Walsh say that you only need 20 games to see what you have in a QB? How many has Lawrence played so far?
What are you even talking about? Did you look at the article?
The metrics I gave were from THIS SEASON and have nothing to do with college. Trevor is playing the best ball of any QB in his class this year and it's not close at all.
Maybe do a little homework before spouting off about things you don't know about.....

The article highlight where each QB stood in their 2nd NFL season at the time of writing. It's not about predraft analysis.
Taking snaps under center in bad weather wasn't something I even considered may be an issue for Trev, but it makes sense because I believe he operated mostly out of shotgun in college. He'll improve. But you can't turn the ball over 5 times in the NFL. Just can't happen.

The interception was bad but the fumbles are a massive outlier. Trevor still good everyone!
I forgot to post it, but I watched all of Trevor's passes and counted 5 or 6 legit horrible bouncing off a receiver's hands level drops and another 3 or 4 passes that were tough but would probably be made in dry weather.
It wasn't a good game by any means, especially from a perspective of keeping two hands on the ball until ready to throw, but it wasn't the kind of implosion that the trolls are acting like it was.

If he had thrown 4 interceptions with really bad reads, I would be worried but I'm not. I think we will see more Trevor performances like the ones he had against Colts and Chargers. We will likely never see another fumble performance like he had yesterday.
Brighter days ahead guys.
I don’t think people understand how hard it is to throw in that kind of rain and wind. I am going to give Trevor a mulligan on this game overall, though he better have a glove on next rain game lol.

Yes, I think someone said he wasn't wearing a glove because he wasn't comfortable doing that. After this game if he is a team guy he will lean to be able to wear one. Let's see.
TLaw didn’t have a good game - no sugar coat. He’s now learned something nearly every young pro QB learns at some point: pro defenders are better at strip sacks than college defenders are.
That being said, he’s not the only player that needs to learn. WRs dropping that many passes is unacceptable. Yes, it was raining, but that’s part of the game. Good WRs learn to make those adjustments in time to cut down on those drops.
We did NOT run the ball enough. 16 Carries TOTAL isn’t going to cut it against the league’s best team, record wise. I’m honestly amazed that there was only one interception because cutting off a team’s ability to run almost always leads to multiple INTs - just ask our previous opponents. Let’s not join that club, please.
As for the defense, they actually did a solid job containing Hurts through the air. The problem? They allowed almost 200 yards rushing and 4 TDs on the ground. If the defense had been playing like they did the past 2 games, they actually would’ve won despite the TLaw’s fumble issues in this game.
What’s truly amazing is that despite all of those issues, this team continued to find ways to stay in the game. The only losing game that felt competitive last season was the game against the AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals. Not only are they still on track to win 7-9 games, I honestly thought they would’ve started 1-3 at best. Instead, they boat-raced two playoff contenders and hung with possibly a top 3 team.
They are not a great team (yet), but they are better than expected. Let’s be patient and let the process play out - because, for once, we have a top level head coach at the controls instead of an unproven (or incompetent) skipper.

again, he had one fumbled snap. So did Hurts! So do a lot of QBs! It happens. Especially in miserable conditions like we saw yesterday.
I think we're making way too much out of one bad play. There were plenty of other bad plays all over the field to choose from.

he had more than 1 fumbled snap.
There was a lot of bad luck for us as well. Every single time the ball was fumbled away by Trevor a defender came up with it. After the 1st quarter, the Eagles got all the bounces.
If we come up with one of those fumbles, the game could easily have concluded differently.

Not to mention that wasn't your typical rainstorm... It rained literally the entire game without letting up and then you add the wind.... Trevor has never played in a rainstorm like that.... Rain is one thing that was a monsoon lol.... Not that that's an excuse but it is what it is.... Now he has it under his belt he's learned and now we move on

I still don't understand why we didn't challenge ETNs first down... He was clearly passed the first down marker.... The next play Trevor fumbles the ball on a quarterback sneak.... If they gave us that first down or we challenged it Trevor wouldn't have been going for a quarterback sneak...and we were moving the ball pretty well at that point
Dude is 22.
I was .... nothing like Trevor .... when I was that age.
He will be our guy for a long time and I'm very happy about that.

Yeah, his birthday is Sun when we play the Texans. He will be 23, the team needs to help him get a win for his Bday

I mean I saw it live.... it's pretty bad.... He got pushed around by a guy half his size.... Or at least he looks a hell of a lot smaller.... You can't get beat when the game is on the line and you have to get down the field... It's unacceptable
