How many times was Ryan sacked in the game? Zero. Difference is he could feel the pressure and got rid of the ball. Many would argue that Ryan is a below average QB at this point in his career.
LMAO now it's because of sacks on Trevor...you mental miget....I could easily say it's on the defense because they couldn't get a sack....and they couldn't stop the freaking Colts...on a team we shut out a few weeks ago the defense blew it....we scored 27 freaking points....game winning drive to take the lead...which most of you trolls said couldn't happen....and the DEFENSE couldn't stop them....

This 100%. Defense needed one stop after offense took the lead. Trolls want to say Trevor sucks and can’t take the pressure, yet he leads team down and puts them ahead w minutes to go. What else is he supposed to do? 27 points should be plenty.

Exactly... uneducated trolls....and they just spin every week....they say he can't score... They say he can take us down the field for a game winning drive....he turns the ball over....then when he succeeded all those things...it's oh he got sacked... Oh he put the defense in that position.... seriously you can't win with theses trolls

20-22 for 165 and 2 tds .... not bad for a dude that just turned 23 this month
You know what's amazing to me? When Minshew would throw up this kind of stat line people would talk about how he isn't the answer because he can't throw the deep ball. Trevor can throw a deep ball, but just not to the receiver.
Also, I'm not saying Trevor sucks. I never have. I like him and I really, really hope he becomes the guy.
I think I'm most confused about why so many people think he is still going to become a top 5 or even a top 10 QB. I just don't know what we've seen that says it will happen.

I think there is some hopeful wishing mixed up in the formula. He has the tools. Time will tell if he can put it together every week. This loss was not on him. The defense deserves the blame against the ponies.

The defense was terrible. Absolutely terrible. But this thread isn't about the defense.
So far? I've seen a QB that is capable of being a top 15 guy that can manage the game. He's not someone I would be scared of with a [BLEEP] running game. He still makes some really stupid decisions at times and still doesn't have any deep ball accuracy.
Edit: Now, I will say I'm glad he's finally tucking the ball and running it. And maybe his deep ball will come. I'll take a game manager for now to see if he develops into something bigger.
A generation of excuses for a supposed generational QB, seems about right
He didn't play too bad today, but he's still not breaking out in any way. I know he's had an absurd completion pct against the Colts this year but I mean, that's not hard to do when all your passes are behind the line/screens or 5 yards down the field.

That sword swigs both ways. One group will cherry pick stats or throw out the notion that he hasn’t done something good enough to refute their narrative while the other is viewed as making excuses.
My stance remains that as long he is wearing teal I’m going to find the positives even though I may recognize the negatives do exist(though i do see progress and fee justified in thinking he will become what he was drafted to be). I’m not going let it define how I pull for for my team or have my opinion swayed because someone believes they know more about my team or the position.
The generational BS is not something anyone except the crowd who constantly takes a [BLEEP] on Trevor uses. It honestly has become a constant tool for Bull [BLEEP] thrown his way.
I don't understand this passing chart. It is nothing like the passing chart for any other game this season.
Is this is more play designs/calls or him being too tentative to pull the trigger between the numbers?

As I stated before he went to a generationally bad franchise.
Basically the trolls have built a nice little straw man. They claim we here who post are onboard with the generational hype, and then we he doesn’t live up to that said hype that no one, or at least I and the majority of fans here are not posting or supporting, they pat themselves on the back. But they’re attacking or trying to dislodge something no one here is advocating for.
It’s not worth engaging anyone who doesn’t want to have a good faith discussion. The said poster you quoted has not posted elsewhere about anything jaguar related and is most likely a sock for another poster who mysteriously disappeared

If I had to guess, the coaches probably saw something we didn’t that they could attack . It may have been the defense they were playing dates Trevor to throw outside the numbers, which he did beautifully on that 3rd and 13 throw he had to convert on the final scoring drive

That passing chart indicates that TLaw is right handed and favors that side.

Obviously that, and they generally roll him out to that side. The worry is the lack of targets in the middle of the field.

Somewhat.
Moreso, it indicates how much pressure he was evading from he left side of his line.
Also, it should be noted he only took one shot over 20 yards and it was incomplete. No deep ball threat at all.

My immediate thought is that Trevor was pressured via the left side - moving him right to evade often
Plus we ran the ball 33 times for 243 yards and lost the T.oP. in the first half by 6+ minutes. -- due to two those things, the number of throws is going to be scant. Small sample won't be as revealing with its data as a larger one would.

There was no time to let the deep ball develop. The line was getting killed past a few seconds.
Also the announcer mentioned they were playing a lot of Cover 3; does that take away the middle of the field a lot?
