>60%, >250 yards, with an average of 2 TD and <1 Int per game is the baseline for me this year.
However, if the team scores 30 points and he throws 200 yards with a TD and a pick on Sunday I'm not going to be upset about it.
Yeah if the defense takes over and they make Trevor play conservative, I wouldn't cry. There are a bunch of positives that can come out. I just don't want to see a train wreck that shows we don't have talent and the supporting cast is going nowhere.
But Cleatwood .... Bortles did that stuff too... oh wait he would chuck it high and AR would high point the duck. nevermind.. carry on thread responders.
Not going to say TL is a bust yet, but I think drafting a QB early this coming draft would be a wise move.
He is not the guy, no franchise qb LOBS up a punt throw when the game is on the line... the only time that can happen is a hail mary or a 4th down play... just straight up not the guy... looking forward to drafting a new QB
can't believe this guy did what he did at clemson, unbelievable.

First overall?
Trevor has to be more accurate than he was today.
The line also has to give him a pocket much more often.
I still think he'll get it dialed in. I have more faith in TL than the 5 guys in front of him right now.
Nineteen games in and he has one, maybe two, that would fit in Minshew's Top Ten here.
Carry on with the 1st Round Pick hype, Gentlemen.
Jesus christ with the hyperbole guys...
It might increasingly clear that he's not Peyton Manning or Tom Brady. But I see nothing to suggest he's worth moving on from; seems to me like a Cutler/Flacco type. Maybe not good enough for the #1 generational talent he was billed to be, but more than enough to build around.
Give him time, he didn’t have anytime to throw , 0 clean pockets today. Let’s wait till end of season to evaluate

Maybe he is but he still hasn't shown it. He makes great throws sometimes but so did the BOAT. It's what they *don't* do that tells you if a player is a franchise player or not.
The O line has to improve. That's all there is to it. If not, Lawrence is going to get injured soon and we will continue to flounder on offense.
I see the bib brigade is out today.

Depends who's there. If we're picking top 5 (again) and TLaw has a really poor season it would be tempting if there's someone you really love there. Otherwise no IMO.

I don’t think you can categorize a team that 1 an OT botch away from the playoffs a “bad team”.
It’s also tough compare Trevor straight up to Herbert the last 2 years because the offensive talent around him is so much better. I wish Trevor had Williams, Allen and Eckler.
The chargers went 5-11 in 2019.
Herbert didn't join a good team.
That team was a lot better than you think. In those losses they had two come down to a last minute field goal and two others come down to bad special teams.
Its not like they lacked players on offense and defense.

I bet the offensive line guys are saying Lawrence needs to make quicker reads and get the ball out quicker.

Are you serious? Bortles threw more wounded ducks that would have made Elmer Fudd blush and passes that floundered more than anything.
People loved him because he was tough, could run and was a frat boy's boy. That's all it came down to.
Lawrence had [BLEEP] for time in the pocket today. He doesn't need to be dropping back forty or more times per game. The play calling was imbalanced.
And... if Etienne catches that [BLEEP] TD pass on 4th and goal in the 1st half? You're all singing a different tune or not even chirping at all.
