To anyone still answering the anti-Trevor trolls in a serious way, you're better off just stopping now. These trolls aren't interested in good faith discussion about his performance, they're just here to try to make their own sad existence a little more bearable by bringing you down to their level.

I don’t get why people are arguing with these clowns, but quite frankly I don’t get either side of the argument with people using stats to steadfastly defend him.  That’s why I just stay out and watch.  I’m not AS convinced that he’s going to be a stud as I once was but I’m intelligent enough to just let it play out.
You keep it up and ima block you.

Now imagine an NFL QB with a much stronger arm than a normal everyday guy doing that, and you're running and you JUST turned your head around.

Clearly you have not read this thread wherin this has been "mentioned" at least 643 times

Yes, Trevor sometimes elects to zip passes he should put some touch on

We've been talking about it since september 2021

All this bad mechanics, he overthrows receivers, he throws the ball a bajillion miles an hour, etc., etc. is pure bull [BLEEP] and looking for something to complain about. He’s got to get it together between the ears and he’ll be just fine.

Be careful.  There are some new folks around here that will read that as "Trevor is the most generational talent at QB ever and can do no wrong!"

I've mentioned this numerous times dating back from last year.  He still needs to learn to put a little touch on the ball on certain passes and it will make it much easier on the receiver

I see we've come back around to the, "Trevor throws too hard," part of the troll cycle.

You know what's a faithful conversation? Trevor put up a total of six (6) points against the weakest secondary in the league.

Again the Trevor fan boy club is delusional not to acknowledge these facts and excuse his weak performance and blame that one penalty on Walker.

Of course you only interpret other people's comments in the way you want them to read. Pretty much everyone has acknowledged those facts but because they refuse to blame Lawrence exclusively for the shortcomings of this team then it's interpreted by the slower class as being delusional.

Of course. Look at successful teams they have a top tier franchise QB. Why do you think that position is the highest paid position?

So yes, it's majority of it its all his fault for losses. He has no excuse not to perform this year if he is going to the franchise QB for the JAX future. Putting up ONLY six points is embarrasing.

Yeah, I'm not the one who stamps his little feet at the 6 decades of history lesson that got dropped on his head. I do think better of you, you know I'm right and you're wrong, you just have that ego problem in your way preventing you from experiencing some personal growth. I know you can be better than this.

After that self-own, someone with the tiniest bit of self-awareness would have slunk off and kept his head down. But then, you thought it was a good thing to call yourself Florida Sports "God"..... LOL!
As of right now, if there was a 2021 NFL ReDraft, I still take TLaw #1, every.. single.. time!!

It's all good, you're not the first moron to show up here thinking he's the cream of the intellectual crop only to step on his own junk. In another day or so you'll be relegated to the forum trash heap of history with so many others who thought the same. You can't help yourself, it's your nature.

Yep

QBs are very frequently drafted early for their potential as much as their ability to contribute right away.
The percentage of rookie QBs that hit the ground running is historically very low.

Despite the pre-draft hype, Trevor is no different - and he still exhibits more upside/potential than the Jags have ever had at the QB position. It's very worth waiting out his rookie deal.

At this point - sitting back and letting him develop without overreacting to moments of poor performance shouldn't even be considered "being patient" but merely just being reasonable.

Nonetheless - We'll be inundated with chicken little moaning every time he makes an errant throw.

Being attacked by you is like being savaged by a dead sheep. Your smack comes in homeopathic doses.

This would be accurate back in the early 90s to late '00.....

Agreed, if I didn't take TLaw everyone talks about Pitts or Chase but Parsons would be the one I would take if I didn't take Lawrence

Kenny Pickett
Zach Wilson
Trey Lance
Justin Fields
Daniel Jones
Tua Tagovailoa
Dwayne Haskins
Josh Allen
Sam Darnold
Mitch Trubisky

That's 10 of the most recent 19 Quarterbacks drafted  in the first round.

They all prove you to be spectacularly full of [BLEEP] CURRENTLY and historically

Weird because I recall the bills only being able to put up six points against us.... And we literally had one of the worst secondaries last year if not the worst.... It happens man.. even to the best quarterbacks.... Your argument is weak

And how many of these QBs do you think are very good?
