No shotgun formation for those guys. They're always under center.

Yep. Elbow deep, no grease!

Can’t block a promotional interview

Whoosh.
Per Dilla, we blocked NE from interviewing Press for their OC position.

If true, this is getting ridiculous. Let him go Doug

That is painfully sad if that actually happened.
Yeah, what would Pederson know about his coaches that fans don't know better?

Watching how the Texans play offense reminds me about how we played offence in 2022...

Watching the Browns play offense reminds me of the Press Taylor offense.

Oh, and by the way, the Texan's offensive line is trash....  These dudes were garbage last year.

Turnstile O-Line is a problem.  But if you have a trash OC that doesn't know how to scheme and make everyone better, you're toast.

But I'm super excited to watch Pederson catch another paycheck!  I'm sure next year will be great once we revamp the O-Line...

The same O-Line that got us to the Playoffs and a playoff win last year...

But no, I'm sure if we lick the boots of Press and Doug long enough it'll turn around

CJ Stroud is immensely better than Trevor, but whatever.

I thought you said all Ohio State quarterbacks sucked.

Stroud looks great because he's got great coaching.

Trevor had Meyer, then a passionate Pederson.  Then a Pederson that decided it's time to create a coaching tree.

At the end of their careers, I wouldn't be surprised if CJ Stroud has the better carreer.  But I'd argue that having Urban Meyer, and then a washed out Pederson that can't be bothered to run the Offense will be the reason for that...
I tell the players all the time: 'There is no magic play.' Players make the plays.

More playcalling obsessing.
You watch how Green Bay schemes and it looks nothing like how we do it.

You watch Dallas, and it looks like Press Taylor.

When was the last time your remember a play on 1st down that you didn't know what was about to happen.

Shot gun.  ETN next to Trevor.  Run up the middle.

And we did it over and over again.

Eventually good teams figure it out.  Yeah, the O-Line is not good.  But when the play calling and scheme is simple, it's easy to figure it out and key off on it.

Doug Pederson is Mike McCarthy.  Just 2 dinosaurs living off flute SB wins. We're about to make Trevor Lawrence into Dak Prescot.  Just a dude that sometimes gets to playoffs but can't really win a game because the coaching is mediocre.

You just watch playoff teams and you can see how much lacking in coaching we have.  Next year, we'll win 8 games.  Or maybe 9.  And the same boot lickers will find another excuse to blame on personnel instead of coaching.

Doug might need a restraining order at some point. Press just needs to break up with Carp's mom once and for all.

Your comments indicate you feel you are a far better coach and GM than anyone we have. You should approach Kahn and do him a favor by straightening this mess out for him.

Lol, the tinhorns had the 4th highest pass blocking efficiency in the NFL this season. You don't understand what you're watching, bottom line.
This thread had 2 or 3 folks going on and on about lack of pre-snap motion

FWIW here are some numbers from around the league on percentage of plays with pre snap motion

KC - 19.1%
tinhorns - 18.2%
Jags - 17.4%
bungles 17.1%
cowboys 15.1%
bills 13.4%
bucs 12.4%
browns 12.4%
eagles 10%

5 playoff teams ran less motion than Jags and the AFCS division winner ran it within a 1% frequency of the Jags

*shrug*

Good to know it was motion that killed our season I guess

Now - super-extra-bonus-round question of the day for those claiming this changed from 2022 to 2023!

What percentage of plays did Jags run motion in 2022?

Yup, at the end of the day everything comes down to the lines. Oline is pathetic even when the best 5 are on the field. The Dline is goodish against the run but lacks pass rush. I think a scheme change will do a lot for the defense, but the oline needs a complete overhaul outside of Harrison.
