He likes reinforcing the fact the Jags are going to be terrible for at least another season. He enjoys being a loser.

Yeah, just a fat bald crying "babby". I guess a lot of in here are just that.
Quote:That may very well be true. But it's safe to say that our coaches are not coaching our players to be aggressive and win. We play scared and it shows through coaching. The way we call plays on offense and defense are dead give away sat times. This jags team should have a better record.

I'm not saying this coaching staff is great, but firing Gus midseason isn't going to result in us blowing out teams the rest of the season like Miami is.
Anyone that calls jags fans a baby is a Moran after what we've been through

When every thread becomes a "fire gus"  thread you are bound to see some familiar responses.

Who's your source?  I've always enjoyed your factual statements.  Thudercat for HC, H00000000000
Quote:They're a talented team that quit on their coach. Completely different situation.

So they decide to suck on the off chance it'll get their coach fired?

Ill say it every time I see somebody saying the same ol' crap. We get it. Bradley is the message boards whipping boy. Guess what? It isn't changing. Thank god for a owner who doesn't listen to whiny little babies in Jacksonville.

I know football. It may work out, It may not. But putting these young players through another season of re-learning systems WILL DESTROY them. They can't get better if they are consistently re-learning schemes.
They're going to have to relearn a system when Bradley is fired after the season.

Says the guy who cant even spell the insult right. Good job showing your intelligence.

Did you watch the London game that got Philbin fired?

The players looked like they were barely even trying against New York. They quit on their coach, plain and simple.
You know your HC is trash when people completely ignore a win.

You mean they looked like the Jaguars giving up 28 unanswered points in the second half?

Tuxedo, would you not agree there are levels of player regression?

I'll give you that the Jaguars players haven't quit.  But they also are not being placed in situations where they can excel.

So to me there are degrees.  It's clear that the Dolphins have received an infusion of energy with their new HC.

That wouldn't happen here.  But there may be an infusion of how to properly execute and maybe even play more aggressively if we were to make a coaching change.

I don't think you can ignore that fact that a coaching change can potentially change how a team prepares and how a team game plans and schemes.  To me, changing the game plan, the philosophy, and the schemes we run could make a huge difference in how we perform over the next 2 months.

But whatever, I'm resigned to the fact that Bradley is here to make us look like garbage till the end of the season.  But I don't think you're argument holds up, if you think it through.  A coaching change very well could correct alot of issues.

You are right that it would be a different issue that would be corrected as compared to what happened in Miami.

In Miami--- They needed heart.

In Jacksonville--- We need a brain.

There's a big difference between playing poorly and not trying.

If you can't tell the difference, there's zero point in even discussing it.

Same results either way, both corrected with proper coaching.

I'm not saying Gus is the answer, I'm just saying that firing Gus tomorrow isn't going to result in the team doing a 180 for the remainder of the season. Complain about Gus all you want, but the lack of execution everyone complains about here falls on the position coaches and coordinators as well as the head coach. Heck, Gus doesn't even call the plays on either side of the ball and that's one of the biggest complaints on the forum. Just firing Gus and leaving the majority of the staff isn't going to change much this season.

See my above post. I'm not pro-Gus, I'm just indifferent to an in-season firing since I feel it won't do much for this team.
