Between being a die hard Gators fan and a fan of Jenkins either way, I've seen enough to see how bad he screwed up in college and how much work he put in when he got to the NFL to not give a flip about character concerns. He's not a Justin Blackmon.

I have already been telling myself Jenkins was going elsewhere and have been on board with Sean Smith ever since. Doesn't mean we'll get him. It doesn't look like Vernon is a guaranteed lock either.

Well, Oehser said he expects us to sign 5 guys today.   I wonder who the other 3 will be?

  Yet,  now that J. Jenkins hit the jackpot after ' only' being a 2nd Round pick,  how will he handle all of this new money and fame?

I have yet to hear our name once on Sean Smith, so I'd probably lower the hype there.

Yeah he's been in the NFL for a few years now with no incidents. I don't think the character things are an issue now (he was also clean since he left UF, as far as I know). I think it's a scheme fit for me. Since we're leaving our corners on an island, we need to be able to trust that the guy will do his responsibility.

 

Jenkins is a playmaker, but he does free lance and gamble to make a big play.

Jax could be the "mystery" team. Almost similar to what the Raiders did with landing Irvin. 

 

We don't know anything until we hear concrete evidence or the ink is dry.

Mystery teams happen, but I generally am in the crowd that goes with the obvious fits are more likely than some random [BLEEP] team you never heard about before he signed.

Honestly I love Trevathan so I agree. Doubt it happens though.
