Eagles officially acquire 8th overall pick in 2016 draft from Miami for LB Kiko Alonso, CB Byron Maxwell, and 13th overall pick in 2016.
Miami is either the smartest team in the NFL or in big trouble. I can't figure out which one it is.

I think it's the latter. Every year at this time, the approach Miami takes is the new flavor of the day.
Quote:Yes, that's JJ Watt territory
It would make the bogus report that ESPN fell for look like a bargain.
I think he gets 100 M.
Hope i'm wrong

Thats what im begining to think too
I have a feeling his contract is going to be big...... It kind of needs to be to land him from the feel of all this....
GO JAGS!!
Just do what it takes to get him and Gipson. Front load the contracts heavily. Literally doesn't matter
I gotta ask. Is Vernon as good as the contract he is going to demand?
NFL Network confirms reports water is wet.
The NFL should allow teams to trade portions of their salary cap to move up/down in drafts.
I tweeted him and asked him to sign with us. Hopefully that will make all the difference.
Pay da Man so we can snag Gipson already. I need another shot.

No. But this is how FA works
Actually, I begged him to sign with us.

You are just joining the party. Go back to applebees with FBT please.

If he puts up double digit sacks and effects the qb on 1/4 of his drop backs then yes.

I haven't been to an Applebee's in 15 years. Now go back to complaining about the signing before he sign

I'm going to say no.
But then again, neither was Malik.
FA is about 2 things, getting paid and chasing rings. You take less for a chance to play with a playoff/SB contender, you get paid big bucks by losers who want to get better much faster.
It's a crap shoot for everyone. If you take the discount but miss the SB/playoffs the gamble didn't work.
The money always works, imo. Always take the money.
But the big bucks stop after Jackson and Vernon I would think.
Caldwell won't go "fantasy team" on free agency I don't think.
