Exactly how i feel.

We know...
We've waited this long, but we still have no patience. Vernon didn't want to come. Ayers wanted more guaranteed playing time. We will find another pass rusher before camp.
The DE free agent market wasn't that good.  You had Oliver Vernon who was good, but basically we would have had to make him the highest paid player in the league to sign him.  Beyond that there weren't a ton of guys you could say that if we signed (or sign in the future) it's going to turn around our defense.

But there were enough guys to help us upgrade.

There were but it didn't happen. It wasn't an issue of spending the necessary amount, because clearly it worked with other players. Dave has a cap he doesn't go over so that way he doesn't sacrifice different aspects of the team.

There will be more pass rushers available by the time the season gets here.

Apparently, Caldwell told Ayers he would have been an inside rusher.... not an edge rusher.

We upgraded 5 positions and added depth at a 6th, and are looking at a LB which would be 7 different positions upgraded.

Good lord what more do you want? Ayers was not the "savior" of this pass rush, and I'm skeptical Vernon would have been either.

So we sign all the guys!

Way to over exaggerate as usual. Do you know how many games we could have won last season if we got consistent pressure?. At least 3 and we didnt upgrade at that position. Say what you want, but we could have the same problem this year.

Malik Jackson, Dante Fowler Jr and we have 8 draft picks.

Not a lot, at least from what has been signed already.  And Caldwell can't kidnap their families in exchange for them coming to Jacksonville.  At the end of the day they're going to have their own choice and not always choose us.

The pass rush has been upgraded with the signing of Jackson, and the return of Marks and Fowler.  They missed on ONE player and you're melting down like someone dumping water on the wicked witch. Such a drama queen.  You're single-handedly keeping Depends in business.

lol I'm over exaggerating?

You whine about every single player the Jags don't sign. "We missed on Ayers... End of the world"

If you don't think the pass rush will be improved with Marks, Fowler and Jackson. Plus draft picks and possible trades, then I don't know what to tell you.

You can criticize them for not addressing the Leo position..... Once the draft and FA is over. But you are acting like everything is done.
Still have 58 mil in cap space

I read that as well. Makes more sense as to why he chose TB. Interesting how much they're focusing on inside pass rush which seems to be crowded at the moment.

That's crazy that only one team has more cap space than we do after all of the money we spent.

So we are depending on essentially a rookie who's coming back from injury and hasn't played a down in the NFL and another player coming off of back to back season ending injuries. No drama queen, just be real. Not everything is sunshine and rainbow's.

for god sakes, we are aware we are missing a pass rusher!!l You and many other on here, Twitter, Facebook, Netflix, IG, other teams forums, and BCC, etc. We get it! We all figured it out by now. By watching the team or you, Alfie, or any other pessimist on this board constant whining about it. That's just this week! Give it a rest! We are AWARE!
I figured it out.

BklynJag is auditioning for a job at BigCatCountry.

I don't believe it. Ayers may have replaced Davis in the lightning package as the inside rusher, but Ayers definitely would have been used as an edge rusher too. Ayers just wanted a starting spot.
