Well ya know, I watched maybe 8 Giants games last year...and I sure as heck didn't focus all of my attention on Ayers.
But you know who did? Two guys from PFF independently watched, charted, and graded every single snap that Ayers played.
Why the heck would you not give credence to that? There's no way any of us have a better feel for what he did last season than they do.
Quote:With increased pressures, and a hopefully competent safety, could Dave be content with our corners? If we draft Jack or Ramsey, coverage should be better, and maybe the corners won't have to cover receivers for 7+ seconds?
Nah no way. Even with the added pressure someone will just abuse the matchup opposite house
Quote:Who would you like signed? Prince? Or do you have anyone else in mind?
I'd take a flier on a guy like Prince, or even a guy like Casey Hayward.
Quote:@marklong Jaguars DT Malik Jackson makes it clear he's going to be a 3-technique, meaning he replaces Sen'Derrick Marks in starting lineup
Maybe they fear Marks injuries are going to prevent him from returning to pre-injury form.
Marks is a very good back up to have

Not with Gipson over the top on that side.
Im not trusting mccray or grats to cover 98% of the #2s in the league

Colvin never got abused lol

PFF certainly isn't gospel, but I believe they do a good job for the most part. I love how people discredit PFF when it doesn't fit their agenda.
Once we get Ayers and geoff schwartz and we should be done, focus on the draft
I wouldn't mind seeing prince in nickel or dime with house and Colvin on the outside. Closer to the end of the year Colvin was starting to get the feel for his side.

Maybe he prevents them from stretching but he isnt going to stop everything.

I'd rather put Prince on the outside and let Colvin cover the quicker slot receivers, I think his game is more suited to do that.
Were we ever linked to any of the premier corners on the markets, such as Smith or Jenkins?
Why do you hate Colvin? Did he steal your g/f or something?
We need another corner but Colvin and House are good players.

My thoughts. I do think we need an extra corner for nickel situations though, unless they feel Marshall has progressed enough.
Quote:No.
That is what I though. Maybe Dave is honed in on Ramsey or VHIII? I just cannot fathom him not pursuing Jenkins or Smith if CB is a high priority for him.

Yes we were after Jenkins
