  If this proves to be correct,  I'm surprised that new Lions G.M. Bob Quinn is investing this much in a WR,  even with Calvin Johnson's retirement and the need to compliment Golden Tate.   Quinn was in the Patriots organization for the previous 16 seasons and they rarely invested heavily in a WR.    Up to this point,  Quinn has been following a Patriots blue print.  Having said all of this,  Marvin Jones is probably the best WR option on the open market.
