So within a year's time, the Eagles trade RB LeSean mcCoy straight up for Alonso, then a year later, trade Alonso and Maxwell, a FA signing from the last year or two, away to the Fish?

He had a good year last season, was productive rushing from inside, disruptive player who could rotate at the 3T

Agreed with both here.
I wouldn't mind the Jaguars interest if he were depth.
They probably have "interest" in just about anyone available on the D line. They have their #1 wants, then contingency plans if they don't get them. So saying "please no" doesn't mean they'll get them or he's a priority, just interest if they don't get their main guy. Also, pretty likely any defense players will have "jags interest" somewhere near it.
My thinking anyway.
Clayborn is a decent player, when healthy. He played on a 1 year 'prove it' deal for the Falcons last year, and played well in limited snaps/sub-packages.
