<p class="">To clarify: Jaguars GM David Caldwell says getting S Johnathan Cyprien snaps at LB was discussed. Not likely to happen.
DC basically said they went after 4 bigger names thus far, Jackson, Ivory, Gipson, and Vernon. He got 3 of them. They did not go after Irvin or Williams.

Second time ive seen someone mention otto and 3rd down in the same sentence. Otto is not on the field in 3rd down/nickel.

Apparently, the Cardinals also didn't have interest in Bruce Irvin despite one or more earlier reports before the FA period began. Now I'm wondering if the Falcons and/ or any other team had serious interest in Irvin. Did the Raiders in essence bid against themselves?

I think the Dolphins are going to regret signing Mario Williams. Based on what I've been hearing and reading in recent weeks about Williams in terms of what transpired with the Bills in 2015, it doesn't look like this is going to be a Julius Peppers type of situation.

Opinion question.
If the Jaguars put Johnathan Cyprien on the trade market, what do you think the Jags can get in return for him? Especially, considering he's scheduled to be an UFA in 2017.

It's tough to gauge a players trade value, but I'd guess a 5th/6th rounder.
