Whoa. He's a good player, but I never saw him as an elite player. That salary would put him up there with McCoy and Dareus, wouldn't it?

Only thing I've seen is that Miami may consider taking the transition tag off of Vernon, so they could land a comp pick when he signs elsewhere.

There will be nothing but rumors on Vernon until FA starts tomorrow because of the tag.  No discussions with the agent until then.

I really hope we add Vernon as well, both him and Jackson are still Young players entering their prime.
