We still need an edge guy though, which is why we need Vernon.
No one could have ever said before FA that we need to get BOTH Malik and Vernon. They are considered 2 of the top 5-6 FA's on market and both would command 12-15M per year. Can't expect to sign TWO of those types. It looks possible now, but you really shouldn't expect it lol.

Trust me, I want Vernon and really feel good about it happening, but you can't possibly expect both Malik and Vernon lol. Regardless of reports. There's some teams that have a ton of money that has barely spent anything.

The kicker here though is we still have more than them after spending what we have already lol
I really really want Vernon. 25 years old, from Florida, position of need, one of the best guys at applying pressure and has 25.5 sacks over the last 3 years.

Lower than I expected for Irvin actually. I agree he cant have been as much of a priority as we thought
Someone changed Olivier Vernon's wikipedia page to say he was playing for the Falcons. I thought it'd be amusing to change it to Jaguars. Now it says he plays for the Atlanta Braves :teehee:

Wow... i was really thinking he was getting 5/50. I would have been fine if we paid that much lol. Guess Caldwell had his limit. Good thing im not the gm lol.
