4th highest paid DL in the league, but I think everyone around him never hit free agency with the exception of Suh.

He proved to be an elite level player this past year. Why do you think legit every site had him as the #1, #2, or at worst #3 Free Agent in Free Agency?

 

The guy was disruptive and was a key cog in a top defense. He was going to get 12-15M per year at the least. We're on the high end, but I bet it's front loaded which fits us perfectly with our cap situation and the young guys needing contracts later on.

It's free agency. If you're a good player you're going to get overpaid.

We are signing Irvin. With Fowler and Irvin, they'll make Malik look good as when he had Von Miller and Demarcus on his right and left. Chammmppiiooonnsshiiippp

Every time a premium free agent signs a new contract, he becomes one of the highest paid at his position in the league.   And the next year, someone else becomes the highest paid.   And the next year, someone else.   Because the salary cap keeps going up.   Three years from now, Malik Jackson's salary will look a lot more reasonable, because there will be a slew of free agents between now and then who sign even bigger contracts.  

Noce only 2 more mill per year then Broncos.
