What did the Bills market think of Zay Jones?

The Jags are taking their BIG, skilled receiver with the 1st pick.

Gabe is quality depth in case Kirk gets injured.
Really no complaints about this Year's Free Agency period so far. OH wait it hasn't begun yet !

Wouldn't he be way too expensive for quality depth?
Today is gonna be a busy day starting at noon. That’s when team can start officially negotiating.

This thread is for all Jags FA News. All other free agent news should go in the League.

Here’s to hoping the Jags make some smart moves!

Yeah. At this point, ideally, just hoping to see the team bring in legitimate starting caliber players at the following positions:

1. Center
2. Defensive Tackle
3. Cornerback

I think if they can at least grab at least a player at those three positions we'll be a lot better off getting into the draft. Wide Receiver, Safety, EDGE & OT depth should also be on their radar.

Linebacker and Runningback should be the least sought after in my opinion.

Agreed big time. Some names the Jags have been connected to:

Gabe Davis, Danielle Hunter, Arik Armstead, Jeff Okudah, Josh Reynolds, Mitch Morse
New centre !! Good cheap deal as well

Can everyone calm the [BLEEP] down now? Geesh.
Morse signed!

Let’s go!
Thank [BLEEP] god.

I think Fortner was just SO bad it made our guards look worse than they actually are. Morse is a good player and a great leader to develop someone we may draft. Also gives us a little flexibility going into the draft.
We just need to get him a bigger helmet. Six concussions in eight years.

Morse is decent it's just fortner is so bad

So if we're really that big on Gabe Davis (why though?) what would you do?

Sign Gabe
Cut Zay
Draft 1st round WR

Or keep Zay as the #4?

Bc you can't go in there with Kirk, Davis, Zay and expect any better than what we had this year. If anything it would be a significant downgrade.

Don't rule out Ridley yet, I doubt we're offering the most money but if his alternatives are Pats and Panthers it's not a guarantee he picks the money over us.

If they sign Gabe and Ridley, Zay is gone. If Ridley walks and they sign Gabe, I think they keep Zay and draft BTJ or Adonai Mitchell. Then Zay is gone in 2025.

I think you'll see the passing game be better just because they signed Morse. Morse has played with Mahomes and Josh Allen. He makes every single play on that Oline better.

One down. Two to go. I like the Morse signing. Gives us flexibility for a year or two. Now we need a DT and CB.
