You tossed an athletic score, not a QB score. Do you really think AR-15 and Levis are more special that Pat Mahomes? Because AR outscored him on your little cherry picked metric that Levis didn't even chart? Great number for a skill position, great for the HBack he ought to be, but those numbers don't make either one "most talented/gifted" among the quarterbacks in the NFL.

Tom Brady - 2.74
Joe Webb - 9.99

That's all you need to know about the RAS and it's importance to the QB position.

So yeah, as usual, you relied on a factual stat that actually means dog squat to making your point.

Sav is a high quality individual and decent player. Can't tackle, and that is why Jeff Halfley didn't want him in his Packers defense. The missed tackles were a constant problem. Can't have it.

Wish Darnell the best in Jax.

I think Nielsen will coach these guys up. Tackling should be much improved.

The Packers tackling will be much improved by the subtraction of Darnell Savage. Xavier McKinney is a god on defense compared to Savage.

And Savage has been in the league over 5 years. He is what he is.

Tug boat fits Hodges pretty good. He was hyping the crowd up and doing cart wheels too.

The mind bortles at how a 300-lb dude can accomplish this. NFL athletes are crazy gifted.

Hmm... I thought this post was a joke, and now I'm not sure.  I suppose I'll ask who they are more talented/gifted than?

Minshew and Tannehill, not in that sequence.

Please oh please tell me Joe Webb's nickname was 'the slinger'

Lie to me, if you must.

Yes, and he was given a special dispensation by the League to wear these cleats every week, even though he played for the vikes. And Scarlett Johannsen and Zendaya followed him around on the sidelines in costume carrying his water bottle and clip board.

Go read it again.  I said 2 of the most, not the top 2.  You have Josh Allen, Herbert, and Lawrence are others that are up there at the top as well.  Brady wasnt close to the most gifted, hence why he fell to the 6th round.  Brady is the GOAT because he worked harder than everyone else and was smarter than most about the game, his competitive nature along with the clutch and leadership, his willingness to not [BLEEP] lose.     You can be one of the most gifted ever and be a bust if the work ethic isnt there or you dont have it between the ears.

Yeah...still no. It's an athlete score not a QB score.

What is a QB score? QB rating?  I never said they had 2 of the best QB ratings.  They are 2 of the most gifted/talented.  If either get better with accuracy and learn to read defenses the could both be big problems
QB score. Athlete Score. Wonderlic. Combine numbers. College stats.

One test that rises above all those would be the eye test.
The eye test isn't particularly good either.

Since this seems very complicated for you I'll try a visual learning aid instead. Here's the top 10 RAS scores for QBs prior to the 2023 offseason when your boy got drafted, as you can see, it's a veritable litany of "very special" quarterbacks. And don't act like it's cherry picking either, the next 10 are even worse with the only names you're likely to recognize being Gabbert, Pennington, and Tebow. Of the top 20 the only one who made a Super Bowl was Cam Newton and few people consider him to have been a great QB, just another great athlete playing the position. So, even though a dump truck might have the very best of the very best traits of a dump truck those traits have no bearing on how the dump truck will do at the Gator Nationals. In other words, posting AR's RAS score is entirely irrelevant to how "special" he is and neither he nor Levis are anywhere near the top of special NFL QBs.

The point you're missing that they are saying is that there is a very big difference between being physically/athletically gifted and being "QB" gifted. A truly "gifted" QB would be someone like Mahomes with the arm talent to make every throw and things you don't even think possible with ease and pinpoint accuracy, or Brady who just had the mental aspect of where to go with the ball every single time almost subconsciously.

You just need to specify that you're talking physical traits and not QB traits. To say in the same sentence they are the most gifted/talented QBs ever followed by getting better with accuracy and reading defenses completely contradicts itself. Saying AR is a more naturally talented QB than Peyton Manning bc he's bigger/faster/stronger but needs to fix his accuracy and comprehension of defenses is just an asinine remark to make. It lacks context.

That doesn't even work. Dickerson ore goggles his entire career and was one of the best RB of his day. He probably failed his eye test

Also doesn't explain how a colorblind Vinny Testaverde had a 20-something year career

So am I the only one or did everyone else miss that Jaguars legend Snoop Connor signed with the cowpokers?

Missed that on my end. Happened back in January it looks like. Still can't believe we traded two picks to move up to get him. I had some high hopes for the guy. Found the endzone a lot in college as a short yardage back. Just never seemed to click here.
