In a 4-2-5, I hope our 5s are going to be good.

As of now, it looks like Campbell and Darby will be our outside CBs. Savage will play inside/nickel with Cisco and Johnson at Safety. Which I'm happy about seeing more of Johnson.

Darby is nothing more than a stop gap at best and Campbell is in the last year of his contract. A CB has to be added within the first 3 rounds.
Bills trading Diggs to the Texans. Damn
But Gabe Davis and Zay Jones!

Texans going all in for their young QB.... What a weird thing to do.

This could be a final nail in Baalke's coffin if Houston smokes us in the division this year.

Diggs may be past his prime, but he's still very good and Houston is doing everything to load up while we don't. I like the moves we made this offseason, but where's the big splash for Trevor? Maybe we'll make a move in the draft, we'll see.

I am not saying this is going to happen, and I know this certainly isn't always true. However, I feel that more often than not when a team goes out and acquires massive amounts of talent...they actually don't do as good as was expected. Of course now that I say that the Texans will win the Super Bowl lol. Hopefully I am right and the Texans just can't get it together.

While this could be true because it’s very hard to win a SB, the Texans have a great mix of youth and vets.

Agreed. Diggs and Mixon are very likely at or beyond their peak production portions of their careers.  Diggs has been a bit of a diva at times as well.  Looking forward to him pacing the sidelines screaming at CJ at some point this upcoming season.  No need to over react.  They're taking a swing this year.  We'll see how it works out.  We'll be in the mix as well I have no doubt.
Jags don't need to be in some arms race of aging offensive weaponry.
They need to fix their lines.
Not a bad move by the tinhorns on paper, we'll see if it benefits them much in the long run.
Maybe we will draft a wr at #17 to give t-law his #1 wr. Maybe
And if this causes their window to close prematurely due to bad money on the books will anyone go back in time and reconsider their opinions? Again maybe this works out but with dell and Collins spending on wr for Houston seemed like us paying a big money linebacker this off-season.

This will solve so many problems.

Yeah - he's been rubbing coaches and teammates the wrong way for years in Buffahole.

I'm sure it was a factor in their decision to move on.

Most WR1's are. For every Fitzgerald, Megatron and Julio Jones you get a Diggs, Owens, Antonio or Odell.

It's comments like his that will have me somewhat cheering for Josh to not skip a beat while Diggs finds himself in a less ideal situation and visibly not happy about it.  I don't care if Diggs ends up being correct in his assessment, it's simply not professional to post on social media such thoughts about colleagues.  I don't like either team so it will be hard to cheer for Allen's continued success, but the schadenfreude directed at Diggs will be very satisfying if it comes to pass.

You said "most" and then described "half"

Personally, it seems to me the trend these days is just under half of them start out with some diva [BLEEP] going on and then a few more of them develop it as they get paid.

So about half sounds right.

(a lot more of these kids are coming out of school these days with a better head on their shoulders about treating the next level professionally and setting themselves up for a successful post-NFL experience)

I'm glad the tinhorns ended up with one who is 31 and cancerous, LOL.
Short window of benefit IMO.

That's kind of the point though. They have this small window before they have to pay Stroud so they need to maximize it.

They drafted well at WR (weird...) with Nico and Tank Dell so they can let Diggs walk whenever they want.

There's more. Was going to list Randy Moss who had his brief moment in the sun of being a diva when he was sent out west to Oakland. Meshawn Johnson in Tampa, even AJ Brown was starting to show a few chinks in his armor with the Eagles last year on the sideline.

I think it's more along the same lines of customer service. Most people will not go out of their way to tell you how good the service was with a review, but, the disgruntled one's will bring fire and brimstone to your business for bad service or a bad experience. The diva receivers eat up most of the reviews, attention and media space while the quiet, humble ones just do their jobs and quietly get recognized years later.

Even the "good" ones have some dark moments. Marvin Harrison Sr. comes to mind with his shady past in Philadelphia outside of football. Then you get into Andre Johnson throwing hands once and getting ejected, A.J Green throwing hands here with Jalen and getting ejected and I think Mike Evans has had his moments.

It'll be interesting to see how Jefferson's mentality shifts with the Vikings minus Cousins now as well.

We did the same gamble with Ridley and we lost. Baalke didn't expect Josh Allen to have a career year during his contract year and it left him with no choice but to franchise tag him instead of Ridley.

The tinhorns are gambling here as well though, as it's been cited, Diggs is a bit of a diva and he could ultimately prove a headache and putting an annoying bug in a young man's ear in year two at the most important position in sports.

All in all. It's not like Buffalo ever rocked our world with Diggs and Allen so we'll see if it's different with Stroud and Diggs. To be fair. I agree though, it is concerning with this offense now and the fact that they have a very promising offensive coordinator in Bobby Slowik more than likely getting creative right now as we speak on this trade with how he wants to use Diggs offensively.
