Open up the wallet Baalke, it's gonna take alot to keep Josh.

He might be playing on the tag this year

Not really. They already said he’s looking for $30m per year which is what Burns got

I said this was going to be the number and everyone thought 20…lol
Need to see how they arrive at $150M max value and $30M per year (i.e. are there incentives?). Josh should probably wind up getting more than that if it's a straight up deal.

I think the 87.5 guaranteed is the important number.

Of course, but since Josh is signing after Burns, I presume they'll also make him highest paid annually even if it's only slightly so.  Just depends on if there's all kinds of hoops to jump through to get to that number.

FWIW, spotrac had Burns projected annual salary at $21.7M and Josh's at $23.9M.  Burns' is way off as will Josh's be, but they still had his market value pegged at a couple million higher than Burns.  Wonder if that holds true, but again, need to see more particulars on Burns first.
This will be fun. And Allen deserves his money.

But......Why do I get the feeling Baalke could end up trading Josh Allen for a ransom? Seems like a Baalky thing to do.

I hate to ask as devil's advocate but what would be enough for Allen? Would the same deal as Burns -- 2nd and 5th -- be good?

Nice, feels good to add a corner. Darby is a solid corner

Not with this team. That would be really bad.

Panthers are 2-3 years away from really competing and they desperately need offensive help for Bryce.

Jags are in win now mode and trading an elite pass rusher would be a horrible move.

"Ronald Darby seems to be flying under the radar despite a stellar 2023 season with the Baltimore Ravens. Darby was sixth in the league in passer rating allowed and had the lowest average target separation (0.9 yards) in the league.

Opens back up the first round for Brian thomas Jr hopefully.

Yeah, especially if Ridley doesnt come back
Alright. Baalke is cooking again...

Only thing we didn't see yet was a DT and there's still time for that. Can add an EDGE still.

Just leaves Ridley open. Allen is getting his deal done at some point.

I like this FA class so far though.

My brother in law is a Raven and had nothing but praise for Darby and Duvernay.

I hope they can sign Ridley, extend Allen, and sign Uche.

I guess he is really good in FA

Also, Darby was on the SB winning team in Philly

Which makes me wonder, why aren't you a Ravens fan? Isn't that your hometown team?

As much as some of us like to chip on Baalke, his FA acquisitions are pretty good. But come draft time...'I don't like Aidan Hutchinson. His arms are too short.'

We'll see this year. Hope springs eternal.
Shaping up to look like a first round WR right now.
