Love how Dave gets all his guys early in FA lol, he did the same thing last year, focus on the draft after this

Is he a FS or SS? I get that he will play ST but what about FS position? 

Dave is definitely showing an aggressiveness for giving guys with limited exposure an expanded role, all 4 of Parnell, Skuta, House, and Brown were studs per snap as far as PFF grades were concerned.

Good, I doubt we spent too much on him, will take him over somebody high priced thats not worth it, he can come in compete with a rookie for the FS job

Sergio could actually play FS for us while a potential rookie develops and learns Gus Bradley single high cover 3 safety rules. I like the signing, prob a cheap one too.

Demarco probably will be in JAX some time today or in the next couple days because Colts don't want him, Cowboys screwed things up, I heard somewhere Cardinals don't want him, I guess that leaves him with us, hopefully we can land him for cheaper than 8 mill a year.

03/08/15 - S Sergio Brown, unrestricted FA update, is a good backup player in the secondary who can start if needed. Brown did that quite well last season when LaRon Landry was suspended for four games by the league. He wound up with 33 total tackles and six passes broken up. How good was Brown? Landry had a heck of a time regaining his starting position late in the season.

13:00 The Jaguars look like they are going to be busy early in free agency, with Mike Garafolo reporting that they are expected to sign soon to be former Indianapolis Colts safety Sergio Brown. Brown impressed last season, posting an overall grade of +4.7 on 541 snaps including the playoffs. That’s the most we’ve seen on him, so there is some risk involved, but it looks like the Jaguars are willing to take that chance.

He's supposed to be there for dinner. So maybe he's on his way?
