Quote:Suh has not signed. No FA can actually sign a deal until tomorrow at 4pm. The fact that contract details for Thomas are out there pretty much mean its done.
Maclin, McCourty, Cobb, etc can all sign bc its a deal with their original team. No one moving teams will be official till tomorrow.
Link? I haven't seen anything regarding Thomas' contract details, which leads me to believe that it's not done. It may be close, but unlike the other agreements were most of the terms are out, I haven't seen anything like that for Julius.
so now that McCourty is gone back to the Pats, can we talk about how much Caldwell is failing?
The only link I saw was via Rotoworld.

5/45 was bandied about in the Denver Post.

Not sure if I am being whooshed or not.
If not, FA hasn't officially started yet.

Thanks I see that now. But, its your typical internet reporting. Reading the original blurb on the Denver Post, even the article said its not "done", even if they put down the caveat that it might just be a timing thing.
Contrast this with Suh, who's total and guaranteed money have both been reported by the major sites.

Rodney Hudson is going to Oakland. $44.5M on a 5 year deal. Someone taking the Raiders' money.
Anotha one bites the dust. Although I like Bowanko so I'm cool with this.

"
WHAT’S NEXT. Wide receiver Torrey Smith, the former Raven, likely headed to San Francisco for $9 million a year … Ditto tight end Julius Thomas from Denver to Jacksonville, for about the same money"
That is Peter Kings MMQB from this morning.

It was either this or the Raiders re-signing Wisniewski. Don't get why this is the route they took Hudson is barely an upgrade at all. Reeks of the huge Veldheer mistake of the past. Well not that bad, but still weird.
Bears getting McPhee sucks. I didn't expect him but was hoping possibly in the back of my mind.
Wonder if DC is gonna make a play for Wiesenski (sp)?

I saw a couple tweets maybe Thursday or Friday that said the Jags had talked to Wisniewski. Haven't heard anything in a few days though.

It's not as if McKenzie has shown he knows what the heck he is doing. Last year they added a bunch of washed up scrubs in Tuck, Woodley, MJD, Penn and let Lamar Houston (and Veldheer) walk.
great job, Caldwell. you didnt even try to get Suh, you couldnt snag McCourty. you're apparently going to way overpay for a TE who is slightly above average. what are you here for?!

Haven't seen this anywhere. Link?

It was Hays Carlyon. Also this just now from a twitter NFL rumor mill that I don't know but has a lot of very reputable followers...so who knows.

Wisniewski era ends Oakland. Teams interested in Wiz? Cardinals, Broncos, Chiefs, Bengals &
Jaguars. Don't see Rams or Skins jumping in.
