Knighton to Redskins for 1 yr/$4 million
That's cheap.

Quote:Crabtree has had one 1000-yard season of the six he has been in the league and he acts like the second coming of T.O. Why would we add that?
He was starting to look really good before his achilles.  Question is, will he ever be able to physically regain that form?  That's one for the experts to determine.
I would have loved to have Pot Roast over Roy Miller.

Well a lot of good RB's have gone in the 2nd round, and we seem to have filled the positions where the best 2nd round options at starter were at, RT, TE, CB, OTTO. Biggest impact positions that could start on our team that fits 2nd round is RB, LEO most likely should be taking care of in round 1.

i havent seen anything indicating that crabtree has been acting in that manner....?

Been there done that…don't think either side wants a Part 2
Really? Dude was a total diva coming out of the draft and hasn't been humbled by a string of mostly average-to-below-average seasons. I'd rather roll the dice on Stevie Johnson, though there's risk there too.

I'm in the minority, but I also think Reggie Wayne has one or two more good years in him.

Eh. Knighton can't keep his weight in check.

Which is reasonable. I just figure theyll want their pick of the bunch seeing as they thought murray might be worth close to 8 mil. Clearly they see it as more of a need than people think.

Yup RB is a big need on this team and a rookie RB can make a impact better then any other position, I dont want to get the leftovers in a good RB draft, get the guy you want.

As a Texas Tech Grad and follower, I will personally second the desire to pass on Crabtree,, could he be a good player for us? Yes..

But he has already expressed the desire to play for a team that is going to commit to the passing game,, I don't think we would be high on his list of potential teams...

And i see no point in bringing in a vet who is going to be frustrated to be here because he isn't getting enough touches, I don't think BB needs that, nor do our young wideouts.

No doubt we could use a top tier RB.  The opportunity cost of using a 2nd round pick is, IMO, too great.

You probably arent gonna get one of the "top tier" guys if you wait tho. That's the thing. Gurley and gordon are both gonna be gone by early 2nd round

I laughed yesterday when somebody mentioned possibly picking up Trent Richardson, but I'd take a flyer on a vet's minimum contract. If he's still terrible after the preseason, cut him.

For a good price, I'm with you. Pass a physical and let him mentor. But he may have lingering health problems.
