Quote:But teams will also be looking to trade up

And I hope Murray does make his choice in the hour

They say he'll make it tonight. But I'll believe it when I see it.
I think he goes to Oakland

Yeah I remember hearing that last night too
Quote:NFLN just said he will be making his decision within the hour, he is weighing his options and they just mentioned the Jaguars too. All day its been between Oakland and Philly, at least were in the mix. Im not gonna get my hopes up , but just imagine how much better our offense would be with him....Demarco and Denard!!! And we could cut Toby, actually we could cut him with or without Demarco,

I doubt he picks Oakland. They are a mess and that state tax.. Ouch.... Its either Dallas or Philadelphia. Most likely Dallas. Unless their offer is way low.
Quote:Jumping teams that pick at the top of the 2nd round to get a guy you want, is much better then the 6th round pick we prob would get for Lewis

From a talent perspective that makes sense but we have seen how good Dave Caldwell is at finding guys in the later rounds who can quickly be promoted to starting jobs. Also, part of his "build through the draft" philosophy is collecting several extra picks before April 30. So he would rather get the sixth round pick for Lewis. For all we know he could get a fifth for Lewis and use it to select a Week 1 starter.
If we dont get him, the world wont be over. We can always get a decent RB in the draft, hopefully early.

Money = Raiders

Retribution = Eagles

Situation = Cowboys

Don't see the Jags having much to stand on at the moment.

Cmon Demarco, come to DUUUUVAAAAALLLL

I wish I knew what this means. Not actively involved as in no longer negotiating, take it or leave it. Or not actively involved as in the offer is off the table?
How old is Demarco? 25?

Quote:Easy too much money.Go get a RB in the draft.

A running back in the draft will not do nearly as much as Murray can to help Bortles.

We could be money too. Even if our offer is lower, that state tax lol

Someone said earlier in this thread he is 27.
If he re-signs in Dallas aren't they pretty much right back in salary cap hell?

A healthy Gurley would, Murray is good but he benefited greatly from the dominance of Dallas oline. If Gurley never got hurt he probably would of been the best back to come out since AP

I think you also have to look at blocking ability. A big part of a running back is blocking during pass plays and usually rookies are not good at that yet. Murray would be helpful in that aspect as well to help a young offense.
Ed Werder has been sleeping on a cot in Irving, TX for 20 years.

Big if. Nobody knows how good his post-op ACL will be.
If we could trade down and somehow get 2 first rounders, I would take Gurley in the first since he will most likely be gone in the 2nd. The risk is worth the reward for him, he is special. I thinks hes the best RB in the draft.

I agree. I remember the game he returned from the injury and opening kickoff, ran it all the way back. Lol too bad there was a penalty called lol. He's my pick for rb if we draft one that high.
