Could be...that's 1am EST. Good catch.
There's no way he can keep this a secret from the Schefter's and Rapoport's of this world.

The only way it would really work is if he has a contract offer on the table and he'll accept it right when he announces on twitter. That said, it's an April Fool's Day prank.
@caplannfl: Stefen Wisniewski is visiting the #Jaguars today, source confirmed. He visited #Patriots on Monday.
Did Jennings ever post anything else?
I still would like to see Wisniewski sign with us.

It was an April fools joke as we suspected.
The latest rumor from Jason Cole of Beacher Report has the Raiders exploring options to move up and take Leonard Williams.
So either the Raiders are talking to the Jags, whom they fear will take Leonard Williams at Pick 3 if available or they are talking with the Titans. Could the Raiders offer the Titans an extra Rd 3 pick to move to Pick 2? Would the Jags attempt to trade down with a QB starved team if Mariota falls to Pick 3? Would the Titans take Mariota at Pick 4?
Thoughts?

I don't think Dave is as high on Leonard Williams as some on this board are. The Odrick signing, the priority re-signing of Alualu prior to the start of FA, and then the abrupt release of Red Bryant has me to believe they are pretty satisfied at that position. Some may feel differently, but that's what I've gathered from my observations from afar.
If the Raiders want him I'm sure Dave would be willing to entertain trade offers. If the tacks want Mariota though they better not get cute trying to trade down because if he's available when the Jags go on the clock I fully expect the war room phone to be ringing off the hook.
Do you think the Jags would take a Rd 3 pick from the Raiders to move down to Pick 4? Do you think the Raiders would offer that much?

A 3rd or a 4th is likely if Dave is as crude as I think he is.

I think it depends on how much the Jaguars like Williams over someone else. If Caldwell would rather draft someone else even if Williams is available, then it will take very little to induce him to trade down one spot. He'd get something for nothing in that scenario.
I don't think we have any clue if Caldwell is high or not on Leonard Williams. Marks will likely not be 100% at the beginning of the season and Hood is just a guy. I don't think signing Odrick and re-signing Alualu prevents Caldwell from potentially drafting Williams.
Stigma,
In 2014, the Browns moved up from pick 9 to pick 8, and gave up an additional 5th round pick.
In 2013, the Dolphins moved up from pick 12 to pick 3, and gave up an additional 2nd round pick.
In 2012, the Broncos moved up from pick 31 to pick 25, and gave up an additional 4th round pick.
In 2012, the Eagles moved up from pick 15 to pick 12, and gave up additional 4th and 6th round picks.
In 2012, the Jags moved up from pick 7 to pick 5, and gave up an additional 4th round pick.
In 2012, the Browns moved up from pick 4 to pick 3, and gave up additional 4th, 5th, and 7th round picks.
...looking at some of the recent draft day trades, moving up to pick 3 from pick 4 would likely cost Oakland a 3rd round pick, or a 4th round pick along with a 5th or more. They would have to offer that much. Would I take it if I were Dave? ...yes, as long as I felt "my guy" was not being taken by the Raiders at 3.

While this is true I still believe that the Odrick and Alualu transactions make Williams to Jax less of a possibility. Also I subscribe to the believe that a top 5 pick should be a starter. You can find depth for Marks later in the draft.

So, let's assume the picks go like this:
1) Winston
2) Mariota
Let's assume we would be equally happy with 3 different guys at that point.
Oakland offers us a 5th round pick to move up one spot. Do you turn it down? That wouldn't make any sense at all.

If the top of our board has say a 1a and a 1b player, both equally coveted but neither really has an edge (as far as we are looking at them) then yeah, you're effectively getting an extra pick to still get your guy. If say Williams is a clear cut #1 and any of the pass rushers or whoever is considered by us a significant step down then no, even if you're 95% sure that's not who they're trading to take, you can't risk it.

The downside is passing on a guy who potentially could contribute to your team for the next 10 years because of guys who may only on your team for anotjher year or two.
