He can battle it out with Toby. We could even make a TV show out of it.

I'd watch it
I think picking up a few vets like Wayne and Richardson for vet minimum would be fine, if they play well enough through camp to stick around then everyone wins.

Richardson is sooooooo bad.
Told u guys Knighton was closer to being done than not. No one is gonna pay long term for a guy with weight problems.

except for the 4 million dollars he gets this year?
Prove it deal and if he does, he can cash in again next year on a multi year contract.
Prove it deal for trent
I really don't get the suggestion of signing Richardson, even to a "prove it" deal. He's already proven for two teams what he is. The third time won't be the charm. It seems like people think he may magically flip a switch here. The odds of that happening are slim to none. There are other potential signings with higher upsides. He's just a wasted roster spot, IMO. Some guys just don't have what it takes in the NFL. He's proven to be one of them.
Trent had a "prove it" year last year and failed

Bingo.

<p class="" style="color:rgb(41,47,51);font-family:'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">Just wrapping up the DeMarco Murray chase, my sense is the Raiders were incredibly competitive. Jaguars, Cowboys stuck to their guns.

<p class="" style="color:rgb(41,47,51);font-family:'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">Looks like the team that went up to $8 million with incentives was likely Oakland.

How much of a crack do i have to be to say "yeah dude. Like totally bodacious!"

Caldwell has said more than once that they set a price point for the players, and they were not going to deviate. He meant it, and I'm fine with that. In the end, the Jags may have dodged a really expensive bullet.

If it was about money, he would be a Raider. He chose Philly because it was about winning, something the Raiders and Jaguars struggle at.

Dave Caldwell was smart to not offer $8 million to a running back who in all likelihood would split carries with Denard Robinson.
Maybe we should consider pairing this guy up with Jerry Sullivan....

Cordarrelle Patterson | MIN

(March 12, 2015 9:08 PM EDT)

ESPN Vikings reporter Ben Goessling has "heard before" the team would "think about moving" Cordarrelle Patterson in a trade.

It's no secret Patterson has few friends on Minnesota's coaching staff, continually getting called out by Mike Zimmer last year, and benched by OC Norv Turner. Goessling says a Patterson trade "wouldn't shock me." Patterson has video-game movement skills, but still hasn't learned to run pass patterns and has to be manufactured touches to make any kind of offensive impact.

yes please, we could kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Get a deep threat and get an elite kick and punt returner

If the light ever goes on for Cordarrelle Patterson,  he could be a dynamic WR.    While there's plenty of doubt the light will ever go on for him,   he's the type of player that can take an returnable kickoff the distance on an given opportunity.
I have it out for Patterson only because he was a dud in fantasy for me last year.

After the opener in St. Louis,  it looked like you made a tremendous selection to your FF roster.   The Adrian Peterson situation was the # 1 factor in why C. Patterson's impact was much less than expected on Offense in 2014,   But unless he becomes detailed oriented enough for Mike Zimmer,  Norv Turner,  and co.,  his future in Minnesota is in jeopardy.   Zimmer is a no non-sense type of coach.  Turner's Offense is based greatly on precision.
