Aaannnnnd the first meltdown tweet in reply was from TMD. Classic.

Quote:Tweet from Max Luckan (@MaxLuckan) - #Jaguars and #Cowboys both unwilling to match DeMarco Murray’s asking price at this point.

Quote:Sounds like his agent is attempting to milk every last dollar possible.

Sounds like we're not going to just bend over and take it.   I like that.

He's probably trying to get that 11mil mark..... I'm not sure I want this guy anymore. Getting his money is fine. But playing this game like he's the best ever is stupid. I'd welcome him. But this is coming off him acting like a Diva. Hope it's not his agent doing this.

GO JAGS!!

Quote:For people saying we can just draft a RB:

We need more experience on offense as well. We had 8 rookies starting on offense last year, it's not smart to have another rookie getting a lot of carries at an important position. Draft one to develop if it's good value but you won't get anyone close as good as DeMarco in the draft this year.
I think the experience at RB factors in most in pass protection.

If you are telling me that Murray is good in pass protection, I would buy the experience argument.

As a general rule, rookie RBs don't fare well in pass protection (though interestingly enough, MJD was actually quite good in that area, even as a rookie).

But if Murray is NOT good in pass protection, then the experience argument falls.
DC said we have a price on all players we won't go over. We are higher than Dallas I'm sure, so if it really is top dollar, then we beat them out. Who knows at this point
Starting to just be annoyed with Murray. Bring on Hardy instead Big Grin

I agree.  Not really sure how good he is in pass pro, but he's gotta be better than Denard and Storm are, so at least that's a plus.

But my basic point is that at least he doesn't appear to be a complete liability (otherwise he'd be off the field more often), and most rookies can't say that about themselves.
Sour grapes rant.

Ok DeMarco, stay with the Cowboys. Enjoy your time. Jerry will take care of you. You're acting like you don't care your ex girlfriend wants to break up, and another one is being really good to you, and has much bigger boob....err...video screens...but you say you don't care, but keep circling her house...with the other big screen....hoping to catch a glimpse of her.

Go ahead. Maybe she'll take you back, just remember, her other stud bf is next door.

PS

Disregard this if you hook up with the better girl and dump the old one. You won't regret it, you can Everbank on it.
I always find it highly interesting how whenever a player becomes someone's guy They can't resist calling him by his first name. Not judging just commenting.
Example?

He's a complete back. Hard to find that in a rookie RB. Gordon and Coleman will definitely have questions as far as pass pro is concerned. Gurley is better, but no telling where his stock is after the ACL.

He also tweeted this the other day "@AColvin_22: Let's rock together like old times brodie @DeMarcoMurray"
Wonder if having a college teammate and pro teammate (Parnell) carries any sway with him.

The guy above who is calling for Murray is calling him Demarco. People around here calling for Julius. Last year in the draft, Johnny or Teddy. Just a trend I've noticed.

What should they call him? Or do they refer to other players by last name basis?

They need to reinstate TMD just for FA and the draft just so we can all enjoy his epic temper tantrums.. They always made me laugh cause I pictured him sitting there and crying like the Leave Brittany Alone kid..

Of course ban him again after all the FA hype and Draft..
