Voltage, your take on the Eagles is looking that much better after the updated info with the Rams came out. My earlier take on the Eagles as a favorable NFL spot for many players could well be wrong. Chip Kelly is either is a genius or he's in the process of destroying what was one of the NFL's best franchises in the Andy Reid era.

Tom Coughlin is a HOF Caliber Coach but he had too much on his plate with the Jaguars.
Why is the head coach (Chip Kelly) making personnel decisions anyway? Shouldn't they have a GM and work as a team? That team is going to be ruined. They played their best when Maclin and Shady were playing well, now they are gone all for this crazy idea of trying to land an average Marcus Mariota.
And their fans are awful people.

Casserly just mentioned Pernell as one of Jags signings. I assume this was an error but no one corrected him. I guess the analysts are having trouble keeping up.

Chip Kelly comes across as someone who wants to be ahead of the curve. In a way, like Steve Spurrier.

I think that if we had had a quality GM making the decisions behind TC, TC would still be our HC right now. It would feel really weird having the same HC for nearly 20 years. Only Bear Bryant, Tom Landry, and Joe Paterno come to my mind as anything similar.

Have the Jaguars announced any of the signings yet? I certainly can't keep up with the NFL transactions and the rumors.

He's wrestled GM duties away from the actual GM this offseason. Looks like it was a bad decision. Chip has this mad scientist thing going on right now where things only look good in his mind.

Chuck Noll comes to mind as well.
At the very least, I agree that TC would have had a much longer coaching career with the Jaguars if he wasn't the central figure in the front office of the club.
