She said she had to end up sleeping throughout the day.

I get mine tomorrow, I hope things okay, but I do wonder with the reports of people having more severe reactions. So far the people that I've talked to that had severe reactions didn't get them until several hours/about a day later. I am hearing/reading about more people with that type of experience. People are saying they initially feel fine after the second shot, then they feel like they've been hit by a truck. So if people get the second dose, you might want to try and see if you can have the next day off from work. So just you can possibly have time to recover.

I hope you have few, if any, side effects. I guess the payoff is some protection against the 'rona though I'm not sure it's even effective by the stories I keep reading. When my mom gets hers I'm going to stay with her for a few days in case she has these reactions. Thanks for sharing this info. It is helpful to know this. I'm going to tell my in-laws so they know what to look out for.

I have read that younger healthier people have the more severe reactions.  The reaction is the immune system ramping up to fight the virus it thinks it has.  Younger healthier people have stronger immune systems, hence they have stronger reactions.

The side effects from the second dose are actually a good thing, not a bad thing.  It means your immune system received the proper instructions from the first dose and is correctly springing into action when it gets the second dose.
Still, you hate to see another person suffer.
According to the news the inoculation is only good for 5 months?
Our response to this virus has been so stupid. Every bit of news I continue to read about this just makes me sad. TRM makes a post that is 100% true, but misses the fact that those same young people who are having major side effects from the virus probably wouldn't even get that sick from the actual virus and would end up with a better immune response. Fear has made us dumb.

Most of these side effects are not what any reasonable person would call "major."
Fine. Serious side effects. Being bed ridden for 2 days is a strong reaction to a vaccine, especially considering the virus itself would probably not cause as severe a reaction. Up to 80% of people taking this are experiencing strong side effects. We should only be giving this to the people most at risk. Just like we should have only quarantined those who were most at risk. Our whole response to this virus was an overreaction that has done more harm than good.

Care to cite that 80% number? It's nowhere near that.
I'm just quoting what Bill Gates said in an interview I saw. Maybe the dude is wrong.

It's not even reasonable to say that 4 out of 5 people are having serious side effects, if that were so we'd have blaring alarms all over the place. Just a quick peek at teh goggles pulled up a "fact check" on what he said, and it looks out of context. If he did say it then then yes, he's wrong.

Thanks. I think it's good that people are informed of what could happen so they can be better prepared for possible severe side effects. I recommend that your mom and family members hydrate well before and after shot. I do believe it makes a difference. I got my second shot yesterday morning before 8am. 37+hours later and I am fine. I didn't experience any serious side effects outside of some arm soreness for like a day or so. I hydrated a bunch. I drunk a lot of water and Body Armour sports drink a few days before my second shot and the day of. I think it may have made a difference, possibly a big difference.

Some more of my co-workers also got their second shot yesterday and as far as I know at least most of them were okay. Some of them mentioned having arm soreness, and seemed a bit tired. Someone said they lost their sense of taste for a moment, and went and laid down after the second shot. But outside of that person seemed fine and most of them were at work today.

I think we have at least one more person who needs to get their second shot and I advised that person to make sure they are hydrated as well before they get it.
So this "pandemic" is so bad that we must shut down business.

It's so bad that we should wear masks in fear.

It's so bad that we can't allow children to go back to school (indoctrination) yet we need to pay the teacher's unions for doing nothing.

It's not quite so bad that non-citizens are released into the general population to go wherever they want even after testing positive.  It's interesting that the Biden regime mouthpiece tried to deflect responsibility to others.

Governors that (rightly) are opening up their states for business are "neanderthals" while governors that keep their states locked down (which doesn't work) are doing the "right" thing.  In other words, governors that are allowing their citizens to be free are "wrong" while governors that continue the "lock downs" (communist/socialist action) are "right".
The argument will be that “Biden” was able to vaccinate “x amount” of people. So.. we’re all good. We should all be super happy and excited Biden/Harris/pelosi got those vaccinations out to everyone. Even the people not even in our country trying to get in.
It appears our resident liberals have disappeared. I guess none of this is an issue.
The virus spreads best during indoor, maskless, large gatherings where people are talking, singing, or touching.
Crossing a border fence out in BFE, by itself, does not spread the coronavirus.
The way you feel about people illegally crossing the border, whether to sell drugs or seek work, shouldn't change just because of the coronavirus.
Haha. Man, that is hilarious.

Did your feelings about illegal immigrants change due to the coronavirus?

108 illegal immigrants released by Border Patrol in Texas test positive for coronavirus, officials say | Fox News

...Migrant families who tested positive and spoke to that news organization at the bus station said they were waiting to travel to places such as Maryland and New Jersey.

"On the way, we were wearing a mask all the time, gel, washing our hands," Eva Orellana, a 29-year-old from Honduras who came to the U.S. with her 3-year-old daughter, told Noticias Telemundo Investiga.

She added that she was going to take a bus to North Carolina and had purchased tickets.

"Really, I don't feel anything," she said.

Miriam Izaguirre, a 35-year-old from Honduras who also tested positive, told Noticias Telemundo Investiga that she planned to travel by bus to Houston...
Pretty sure you're wrong, HB. Those migrants are just going to wonder around in the desert for the next 40 years like Moses, you know... where they are safe from coronavirus.

Obviously a person who has tested positive for coronavirus shouldn't be getting on a bus for 10-14 days, regardless of their immigration status. But do you really want police enforcing quarantines again?

So, look the other way while thousands of infected illegal aliens pour into our country so police don't enforce quarantines again?

Billy Madison debate scene.
