I don't disagree with you so much as I disagree that it is his job to express an opinion like that. This guy made a career over the past year and a half separating economic and psychological devastation from the "science" of the virus.

I have no idea man. Its getting confusing. Wear a mask, don't wear a mask. Trust the science, don't trust the science. Whatever. My family members are vaccinated so I don't wear one anymore. I don't care who wears them and who doesn't. Just don't tell me I'm wrong and am going to infect others. If they're worried about it they need to wear a mask.
Just got the 1st Pfizer shot today. I really wanted to pass on getting it at all, but with an impending move coming I thought it would help ease the process as far as travel is concerned. There are rumors flying around that the Canadian govt might require proof of vaccination to allow you to pass thru on the ALCAN.
The only symptom I have felt so far is soreness in the left arm where the injection occurred...reminds me how my arm felt after earning my crow in the Navy and having it "tacked" on.
My wife is still leery about getting it at all, but I think she'll end up acquiescing as we get closer to the move date.

As an avid cruiser, you visit ports with multiple ships not to mention all shore excursions are run by local companies. There is no way to prevent cruise ship passengers from coming in contact with unvaccinated people. This whole idea seems dumb.

1st it is illegal per many federal laws and international laws.
2nd if the vaccine works, it shouldn't matter who they come in contact with. If it doesn't work so well then what is the point in caring?
There really is not reason to care except that almost all of the deaths now are coming from the vaccinated. They won't release the real info but vaers database only has 1% of the data per studies. Do the math with around 4,000 deaths reported.

I appreciate you, dude, but you need to start linking studies or sources. I know you have to go to alternate sources to get information these days, but you have to guard yourself against the bad stuff, too. I'd just like to see the links to your data.
VAERS is not a scholarly resource, it's a tabulation of incident reports most of which are self-reported and unscrutinized.
Take a step back, dude. Fauci is a self-aggrandizing buffoon, but I find it hard to believe this guy is a global mastermind that released a virus upon the world. There has been a novel virus every few years for the last 20 years. H1N1, Sars, ebola, West Nile, Zika... the list goes on. He's just saying it's almost a surety that Trump gets hit with a surprise infectious disease. There's nothing sinister about his sentence. I can agree that he has used this situation to draw attention to his line of work, and he's been one of the people that have benefitted from Coronavirus, but put things in perspective.
