Biden Admin Illegally Hid Report That Found US Servicemembers in China Got COVID in October 2019: Report

A bombshell report that was legally required to be released under President Joe Biden’s watch — but which wasn’t — alleged that seven American military athletes who attended the World Military Games in Wuhan, China, in October 2019 had symptoms of COVID-19.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, the report was due to be released in 2022 but wasn’t. It marks the first evidence that the coronavirus was circulating in the city — and made its way back to the states — months before the outbreak became public.

The report, the Free Beacon’s Andrew Kerr wrote on Tuesday, “further bolsters the growing consensus that it could have leaked into the human population from a Chinese lab.”

Your problem continues to be that you read sentences that contain words like "may" and "alleges" and conclude that those things are truthful and have happened. Then you have it in your mind that all these things are true when they are nothing more than additional conspiracy baiting.

L2L's problem is he tries to use his powers of logic and reasoning to create a worldview that is both coherent and flattering to Trump and Trump's actions, while also never vindicating the actions or statements of any Democrat.  You have to do a lot of mental gymnastics for that to work, relevant to this discussion, mainstream science has to be wrong about a lot of things, not only vaccines, but also various carcinogens and, of course, climate change.

It is probably better to be like FSG, and not care if your worldview is coherent or not. This way you can be an expert in something, and know what is accurate and inaccurate in that field, then defer everything you're not an expert on to the simple statement "Trump is always right." That way you still get to love your hero, and you still get to use your logical mind to earn a living and contribute to society, you just have to pretend that it's just this one small set of things that he's wrong about.

It's not controversial to say that the virus leaked out of a lab. 
But you cross the line if you say China did that on purpose. No country was harmed more by the pandemic than China was. It may have been a lab leak, but if it was, it was an accident.

As for the rest of it, the lockdowns, mask mandates, and vaccines all saved lives.  They all had downsides also.  "Was it the right thing to do" is a value judgement.  "How much is a life worth" is a value judgement. "When should the government leave me alone to let me make my own value judgements, and when should the government step in and enforce their value judgement" is yet another value judgement.  Science can't answer any of those questions.

China's crime is they tried to cover it up. The left's crime is they asserted accusations of racism when that fact was pointed out.

In hindsight, the initial reaction to COVID was proper because we didn't know what we didn't know. However, as knowledge of the virus became more evident, governments overstepped their authority by enforcing rules which were clearly baseless, such as allowing diners to go maskless. Were we to believe that somehow the virus becomes magically muted while sitting down to eat? There are other instances of government overstepping their bounds for ideological purposes, such as not allowing churches to hold services - even if it was outside - yet giving permission for protesters of the correct ideological stripe to gather.

Historically overall, I accept the COVID measures undertaken as necessary in order to err on the side of caution. But at the same time, COVID was clearly leveraged for political and social skullduggery.
