I've read research on it and my co-worker mentioned that our boss stated we were eligible to take it due to working in a high exposure environment. (We interact with bunch of military personnel, including active duty members and veterans. We have also been dealing recently with some military personnel from overseas due to more of them coming over here to train lately.) I believe the higher ups/my bosses were briefed on it and we continue to receive notifications about the vaccines and certain rules/guidelines.
According to the guidelines I've read people can be eligible for a booster shot if they are 18 or older, and have had their second shot at least six months prior to getting their booster. My second shot was in February. They also mentioned it can be recommended for people who deal with a lot of exposure as well.

The main problem is companies are still sticking to the 8th. They did get more guidance that they don't really need to fire anyone and can handle it however they see fit but we will see what is happens. Companies won't want to keep moving dates.
Everyone is suing now though so there should be TROs issued to stop it.
They really are pushing hard and it isn't because they suddenly love you. They flat out hate red states but want you to take a vaccine to save your life?

Add to the fact that OSHA doesn't have the resources to do what they claim they are going to do. The government will draw even more disdain with the companies the do end up sicking OSHA on.

I feel bad for the guy but did he not read up on side effects? Did he not hear about it in the news that myocarditis in men was reported? People need to get their heads out of their [BLEEP] and do some research before they put
anything in their bodies nevermind a brand new vaccine.
If I hadn't researched and refused a drug a doctor tried to push on me a few years ago the outcome could have been absolutely devastating. For one, he misdiagnosed me. For two, the drug was not manufactured for the purpose of why he was prescribing it. For three, the reported side effects in women were quite horrific.

Lol, what do you want the dude to do? People are not allowed to travel without it in some places. It's being mandated in many places. It's not being questioned by any major institutions. It's safe and effective, remember?
If he doesn't take it, he doesn't travel and can't work. If he does take it he gets the side effects and can't work. Obviously a tough choice but I'd rather be sidelined and healthy than be sidelined and unable to function.
A resting heart rate of over 100 is not good for long term health, especially for someone like him, and nobody knows how long he will be affected. It could be career-ending.
But he can't know he's going to get those side effects. They are super rare.
