Russell Wilson and Matt Stafford would beg to differ. But what do they know compared to your high IQ for football?

I bet Marshawn Lynch has an opinion, too.

It really is incredible how they continue to do it when you really sit back and think about it. It's like they're trying to find a new way to 1 up themselves in foolishness every chance they get. It really is something to see, but as fans of this cluster we're forced to be apart of the circus and sadness Shadness.

Pederson is new HC and he sits TL.  Scanners time for the fanbase?

Another thought: Khan is going to try to recoup Meyer's salary, right? Perhaps Baalke plays some kind of vital role in that recovery process and Khan needs him on the payroll.

I took pleasure in the use of the phrase "voice of reason" above, as that is often used when posters are accused of trolling. It is so very, very perfect in its usage to describe Baalke.

Kudos.

5 billion versus a paltry $120 million?

And his lawyers will make sure he never pays it

And if he interviewed for a head coach spot, why change his mind too?

At this stage, I think it's best if we all just stopped thinking.

Logic has no place in any of the conversations.

I’m not sure how I feel about this. I want Peterson, and that’s a good sign, but I feel like Leftwich and Wilson are about to get shafted and I feel horrible for them. They would have been a great hire as well.

I don't like the idea of having a first time GM and a first time head coach in charge. Experience matters!

...you realize both teams in the SB are led by first-time coaches and first-time GMs?
Really, Shad? Why don’t you just post whatever positions it is that you’re looking to fill on Craigslist? Maybe you’ll find someone that shares your warped vision of how a NFL franchise should operate.

The guy that reportedly has zero coms with Zim?  Idk what’s true in that respect either. But nice to know that GM(s) are/have been interviewed.

Haha

Jaguars got talent. The new exciting show for lovers of reality tv

Shad have Baalke a week to find a better candidate than Byron or he’s fired. This would make sense as to why Byron’s camp has been super quiet for a week.

If that were the case, Byron would be announced not Pederson getting interviewed.
Pederson and Spielman have the same agent...might be a sign.

Irrelevant...we need experience....

What in the world.

That's very very interesting. He would be a great hire and a huge upgrade

At this stage, the hire will have all the enthusiasm that the tinhorns enjoyed when they announced David Culley last year.

Nobody that was anybody wanted the job, and by the time a decision made, all the other big-name hires had attracted all the headlines. The coach is announced, the few reporters in attendance scramble to see if they can find out who this guy is, and know that he's already doomed just by association with a poisonous franchise.

grape job, Shad.

At least they’re both experienced NFL professionals, so I’m open to the idea.
Spielman and Pederson works quite well for me, if Baalke is gone.

Last July, on vacation, visiting family in Ohio.
Mikey has his Jags cap on, proud of his fandom.
Family friend sees the cap, first words to me after several years, "Jags fan? When did that happen? They are craptastic and Urbz is a moron."
"I know." /drinks

Keep in mind this takes place in Cleveland, game recognizes game. They have endured years of Haslam's crap ownership, and before that, Modell's. When fans of the Factory of Sadness mock you, you've hit rock bottom.

But, we continue to dig deeper.

Similar situation at bowling a few weeks ago.  Wore a Jaguars t-shirt.

Guy passes me on the way up to the bar and says, "Jaguars suck."

I said, "You think I don't know that?  I've been following them for over 25 years."

Proceeded to bar to buy my beer.

Dude shoulda bought your beer outta sympathy.
They interviewed Spielman in person? I thought Shad was in the Bahamas. I'd be cool with pederson and speilman but would feel bad for Leftwich.
