It is interesting that there was a lack of interest in Byron Leftwich as a head coach. There were 8 openings outside of Jacksonville. The Bears were the only team to actually interview him with the Saints asking permission but have yet to schedule an interview. Even if he interviews with the Saints, that's still 6 out of 8 teams that didn't even think he was worth a first interview.
It's only surprising to the braindead fans we have here in duval. Byron Leftwich is a terrible candidate. Like i've said, the mans not done enough to be considered at that level.. if you're gonna be an OC for 4 seasons and immediately jump to HC you should at least have 4 seriously impressive seasons. He dosen't. And 2 are with Brady.

I’m not sure if it was on this board or if I saw it elsewhere but Brady apparently also tweeted something to TL the future is bright. But that could also be the goat just telling him to keep his chin up. Does seem odd timing.

At this point, between Tom Brady’s (alleged) endorsement and Brian Flores’ lawsuit (not saying he’s right or wrong but it’s out there), the fan base, the media, and the NFL (from former/current players all the way up to the commissioner), hiring a Leftwich/Wilson tandem is the easiest decision Shad may ever be presented with as the owner of the Jaguars.

Spielman Leftwich and Wilson would be pretty great. Especially if it gets Baalke out the door
Jags would be wise to stay clear of Spielman.

I have to imagine that as the Texans get ready to hire Josh freaking McCown, the league is probably calling Shad up and being like "Hey, can you do us a favor?"
