No, it doesn't.

I don't trust Schefter especially after everything that came out this year about him. Rick Stroud has said the Jaguars are working on a contract with Leftwich and he is way more in tune with the Bucs then Schefter and also was the one that broke the Lambo story.
Maybe it's taking so long because they are also looking for the GM :-D

I hope that's the case. Because La Confora made it sound like he's getting the job now because he's willing to work with Baalke.
You guys sound like my kids before Christmas. Shaking their presents trying to figure out what's inside
I hear Byron Leftwich calls Trent Baalke “Daddy”.

/pours one out for askvic
Schefter and Rapaport are trying to reel the news in just enough so that when it becomes officially official they can act like they were the ones ahead of the story all along.

If they all have the same source or just use the original person as their source, nothing has been confirmed. It's still rumors until you have multiple sources confirming, not multiple people reporting it.

No it's people who work for news organizations and have confirmed it with their sources. Before you try to prove me wrong why don't you actually go look at who is confirming it and what there saying.

All of them said "they have reached out to there sources and can confirm"

Idk who dilla knows in the building but I've been following him for a couple years he's right 100% of the time or at least as long as I've been following him

You both missed the point.

What if dilla and each news org talked to the same person inside the Jags building? That piece of info is coming from one person and can't be confirmed because it came from 1 source but a bunch of other people then reported it.

I'm not saying it's not true but you can't confirm it yet.

Per Adarn Scheftler, Jacksonville will be conducting interviews with Mike mularky and urban Meyer. They feel Urbs has gotten a raw deal and are open to see what he can do with new GM Trent Baalke.
So bevell is apparently getting a second interview. He checks all the boxes for some of you guys. He has HC experience… I mean he was HC for 5 games last year so he can clearly do it.

What a [BLEEP] joke. If this is serious then this guy is destroying this team.

But some of the smug little cucks on this board will get their haha moment while they laugh at people who were excited their team possibly making a good move.

Is this true? Jesus...

How much more do you need out of Bevell? He was the offensive coordinator all year. It took until the final week of the regular season for this offense to look somewhat "complete" in all four quarters.

He was ran out of Seattle for suspect play calling. I don't think you need to go any further than that. He's not a head coach at the NFL level. It's fine. That's why the NFL is filled with really, really good coordinators.

Mind you that he was so bad at play calling that they took it from him after one week of him being the interm head coach here.
The drama goes on and on. Drama is part of a jaguars life like that

There’s no drama.  Just a thread that was created too early.  Pretty much the search is on going.   They had a second or first interview in Tampa with BL or Todd Bowles. And that means BL is the coach for some reason.  Pretty much the only drama that seems to be going on is that Baalke is the GM and no one at this point wants a job or significant pay raise if it means working with him.

This is such a typical Shad Khan move. That guy is clueless.

Yes, it was wishful thinking by Target boy and fans on this board.

I'll wait until it's announced.

This makes me feel a lot better about Leftwich.

he was also interim HC in DET when Patt Matricia got fireded, not that that means anything.

I dunno what to think of any of this other than contingency planning. If Byron's team is steadfast on certain provisions of his contract and the team does not wish to grant those, they have to keep moving to see who else is suitable, and agreeable to the terms the team expects to offer. That said, if you wanted to maintain status quo, the time for that was two weeks ago, and urgency is needed if you don't want to replace your DC.

I'm fairly certain it's all a dance at this point, though, an orchestrated series of steps that each side takes to ensure that their best interests get leverage over the other, and eventually compromise will occur. I've been wrong before though, and frankly very little surprises me when it comes to our team and head-scratching decisions.
Seeing as how Denver made the first move, I believe we will see at least another 3 hires today.
Yes, Denver got the ball rolling. Other teams want to get their guy before other teams might
