Too many things are happening that can't be defended with anything resembling a reasonable, plausible explanation.

It's bad enough the on field product has been so dismal.  But now it's bled over into the efforts to rectify this, with Khans refusal to implement the most obvious solution:  fire Baalke.

Werre he not so baselessly loyal to Baalke, I can guarantee we'd have a coach by now.

He just got back from a week long vacation to St Marten smack in the middle of the most botched coaching search in memory. I think that tells us everything we need to know about how concerned Shad is about the franchise and the millions of fans that he is supposedly the caretaker of.

I think Shad knows what he wants in a fit and is pursuing it. He wants someone who will right the ship and grow into the program. Not unreasonable.

All Khan really cares about is money. He doesn't care about this team at all, just the money that comes from it. He has a historically bad first 10 years of being the owner and can you guess what he did during that time? He turned $760 Million into $2.8 Billion during that stretch of awfulness. Why should he care if this team wins or loses? Dude just keeps printing money regardless, so why would he care/change now.

You're exactly right. He doesn't even seem to care about the optics of this, how bad it makes him look.

Shad's ineptitude is trending on twitter. No press is bad press.

Gonna be quite the feat for the Jags to mess up Trevor Lawrence, another #1 overall, the most cap space, a sought after situation and plenty of opportunities to save face all because of Trent Baalke.
