Dude accepted the job after the Jags offered it to him but then said he doesn’t want Baalke.
Jags are stalling. The OConnell stuff could be from his camp trying to push another team to hire him.
Is it possible the delay is because Khan needs time to do some sort of background check on Adrian Wilson? Or maybe interview him?
Really like O'Connell, unless he is willing to work with Baalke.
The problem as a few have mentioned at this stage any one you bring in is clearly a 5/6th choice how do you build excitement and buy in to a programme when all the fans media and players are aware that it’s not what anyone wanted

I mean that makes since but nothing with this has made since so I could totally see it being a deal where he wasn't even a thought until until everyone else they like said "nah I'm good".
We interviewed other candidates even though they ended up expressing reservations about baalke.
I hope the same happens here and Khan gets a massive pie in his face. I don’t know how many people turning down this job because of baalke it will take to get that man’s head out of his rump.

We may not know who the first choice ultimately was, but we sure as hell know it wasn't a candidate who popped up more than a month into the search and who still hasn't even been interviewed.

We know at least 3 were scheduled for a second interview though.
Balkie is like a few of our players. If the Jags didn't have a team he would be out of football.

He already does, I just don't think he realizes it. His ego is so big, he refuses to see that he is a joke to the rest of the NFL.
