We weren't even in consideration for the Top Pick until the Jets won in Week 15. That week our game was at 1:00 PM while the Jets game didn't even start until our game was over. And they were playing the Rams, which nobody expected them to beat. So there were only two weeks for which he could even pay them to tank to get Lawrence. And even THEN the Jets won twice in a row, which meant in week 17 it didn't matter if we won or not. We had it clenched. SO he could've only paid them to tank one game... against a Chicago team that made the playoffs. No tank necessary.

And even if it were true, coming out about it after being fired signals to every other owner in the league to never hire Trent Baalke at ANY position. Also let's be honest, Caldwell and Marrone would've had to be in on it as well, and for some reason... they just didn't come out about it after being fired that season.

Permanent vacation. I am fed up as well. Took me all year to convince my wife that Trevor Lawrence has potential. She ejected becauae of the way Minshew was treated.

She is on me constantly to change teams. It is very difficult to convince her that a future is possible supporting this ownership.

I can't change teams. The Jaguars are embedded in my DNA. I can step away and take a break from the mental abuse this team has inflicted on me though. I will always love them, but I just don't like the way they treat me and the rest of the fans. I feel like a someone trapped in an abusive relationship. This team is my woman and she's very, very mean and violent. LOL.
Maybe the WNBA is more your cup of tea.

Watching a Darrell Bevell coached team is about as exciting as a WNBA game or watching paint dry or watching grass grow.

Honestly, that was just a joke.   I’ll have to use the emojis next time, because like I said before, it’s gotten so bad with this coaching search that it’s hard to tell the difference between sarcasm and honest opinions anymore.

It's hard to tell these days, because -- let's be honest, would we really be surprised to hear Trent Baalke has blackmail on Shad Khan at this point?

My source. He just texted me. He said Khan and Khan Jr. got into a heated argument yesterday. Apparently it was pretty bad. Really, really bad. Ultimately. Man, this is wild. You won't believe this [BLEEP].

So, apparently. Everything has fallen through. No Leftwich. No Pederson. The talks with Spielman coming over are still hanging up in the air, if he does come over, he's stating he'll only work on an equal playing field with Baalke, not beneath him.

Additionally. They're now [BLEEP] looking at coaches like Chip Kelly and it's rumored they're trying to reach out to Jim Harbaugh. They were interested in Brian Flores but that has since died down now due to the looming lawsuit.

Unbelievable guys. [BLEEP] unbelievable.

I get being frustrated, but that last shot wasn't really called for.

That's pretty funny.  Yeah, we've reached that point, for sure.

Honestly not frustrated. Snowwolfie's a good sport. He would take it in stride.
We shall wait

Terrible he was a problem at the end in Philly.

You know he was fired because he wanted say in who his assistants were right. He wanted Press Taylor as his OC and ownership said no and he stood his ground for his coaches. Fail to see how that makes him a problem.

I'm not on team Pederson by any means but if him being loyal to his guys and wanting control makes him a problem then most coaches are a problem.

He didn't talk to his QB for a month straight thats some petty stuff my boss does.

That was a story that was broke by Adam Schefter who has since been outed as a favor trader. Whatever the issue was the two worked it out and if Pederson was the problem for Wentz then why was Wentz still traded?

Wentz was mad at the team for drafting Hurts and then started to struggle, it's just as likely that Wentz was refusing to talk to Pederson and not the other way around.
I wouldn't talk to Wentz either. He sucks!
Going to self congratulate ahead of any coaching announcements.

That's right this thread is slated to pass the hellish Teebow monster and rule the thread post count roost.  We may not have a coach, we may still have Baalke but "You did It!", longest running thread ever.

At least it's relevant, whereas the other subject never should have been.
