Considering the cheapness of the owner, Marvin Lewis did a pretty good job with the Bengals

Agreed. I actually liked Lewis. I had heard at one point they only have 3 or 5 scouts. Some crazy [BLEEP] like that. Then people would knock Lewis for drafting players that had "high character" concerns. I felt bad for him. The one year he landed Odell Thurman and David Pollock out of Georgia in the same draft and I was actually excited to watch them play. I am a Bulldogs fan. Pollock was a monster for the Bulldogs. A shame what happened to his career with that injury.
Looks like the dark horse candidate for head coach, especially if they keep Baalke, is Darrell Bevell.

Especially with all the rumors that other candidates don't want to work with Baalke.
With everyone saying the leaks have been from Baalke is it a possibility that he got Urbz fired? It seems he was the culprit in getting Harbaugh fired. If true then coupled with the Little and Cisco picks apparently having his fingerprints on them then it seems he has done us Huge favors already. Doesn’t it then follow he has earned another year as GM?

Ood! WTH am I thinking. He still gots to go
Hadn't seen it in the thread, maybe it was mentioned:

If he parts ways with Seattle, anyone interested in Pete Carroll?

As long as they don't give him GM power, yes.

Maybe it doesn't mean anything, but he sure didn't do bad getting the team prepared to own the colts on Sunday.

I was thinking L.A last month. Not the Rams though. I liked what Joe Lombardi was doing with the Chargers with Herbert. He was with Caldwell in Detroit as the offensive coordinator and with Payton in New Orleans. He calls a really good offense and it's often balanced.

No to bevel. He isn't it. I wont list too many reasons. All of you should know why not. Nice guy but nothing special. Horrible play calling. I dont want him no where near this team.

I've watched every Chargers game this year... and I'd so no to Lombardi. He is so predictable with his play calling. He's also made Justin Herbert not throw the ball downfield as much, which is what Herbert excels at.
I said this in the other thread, but Brian Flores is actually at the top of my list now. I don't know why he would choose the Jags since he should have his pick, but I want the Jags to bring him in for an interview immediately.
Jags still going after Bill O'Brian who cost Bama the title smh
Everyone's [BLEEP] about Flores. Listen. Baalke is still here...

That's toxic 101. O'Brien is toxic 101. Pederson. Love him or hate him. His relationship with Wentz and ownership in Philadelphia was toxic 101.

Looks like this team is destined to be linked with toxic ego's. Flores at least seemed to have the majority of his players on his side.

The General Manager running him off I don't buy it. The moment word was circulating that Michigan was potentially parting ways with Harbaugh is when Ross' name came up in Miami for him.

Flores is worth an interview. Benching Tua helped get them on a 7 game winning streak. He seems to know what he's doing...

It would be nice but you really think Flores would want to coach this team knowing Baalke is still the GM?

Not throw it downfield? Huh? He had 672 pass attempts. He was 2nd to Brady. He also had 5 comeback wins from airing it out late in games.

Yes. He's already won in spite of working with one [BLEEP]. He could suffer Baalke. LOL.

I know Ross has tried to hush those rumors but I don't buy it. It wouldn't surprise me to see Harbaugh in Miami.
Head coach: Leftwich
Offensive Coordinator/Assistant Head Coach: Caldwell
Quarterbacks Coach/Offensive Assistant: Pederson
Defensive Coordinator/Quality Control: Flores

We did say Christmas WISH list, right?

ABSOLUTELY NOT going to happen, but I believe all listed would be willing to work with each other, especially Caldwell and Flores. Just throw HC level money at all of them and let’s dig in to turning this franchise around.

We can dream, right?

maybe we can hope for more than one of the top candidates as a part of the new coaching staff, specifically a Caldwell/Flores pairing

Definitely shooting for the moon with that one. All of those guys are going for HC spots.

I predict Caldwell to the Vikings and Pederson to the Bears. Calling it now.

As much as I want Flores, I can see him ending up in Denver and Leftwich ending up in Jacksonville.

And don't forget Jim Harbaugh to Miami.
