Doug likely have Press a talking to

If Doug didnt like the call he could of let Press know to call a run play
This. Doug has final say. Not sure why Press continues to get punched for everything. It's comical at this point.

It's great to see the O starting to click and getting better. Oline felt better today but definitely had their bad moments. It feels like Lawrence is getting Engram, Kirk and Ridley all involved and seeing Strange step up was encouraging.

Lawrence played well not great today but he didn't need to be great today. The TD throws to Kirk and Strange were great plays and throws and putting up 37 points without Lawrence having to go off shows how good this O can be.

And they will only get better as the weeks go on.

The biggest reason they put up 37 points is because of the defense and Agnew returning the ball across the 50 helped as well.  The defense was very good until they got tired at the end. 4 turnovers and we lead the league in take aways

Agreed. The offense is hit or miss on a weekly basis. Minshew was today's MVP.

Oh of course, I didn't mean it was all down to the O today. Just we can put up points without Lawrence having to do it all. D we're great today and made Minshew make mistakes and they punished him. I do wonder how much playing Thursday factored into the playcalling and 4th Q performance. Both sides of the ball are helping each other right now and for years we've had one unit be good and the other terrible. Having both playing well feels...weird.

The team is trending in the right direction and it feels like they can keep getting better. Road trips to Saints and Steelers before the bye then Niners, T*tans, @Houston, Bengals (SNF), @Browns, Ravens (MNF). Those are the toughest games we have and seeing this team progress, I can't wait to see how we respond.

I'm not putting it all on the Oline but that's the biggest problem the O has at the moment and it's having a knock on effect to other aspects of the O.

Minshew threw some great balls today. Dude hit Jenkins right in the numbers and perfectly over the WR.

The offense is hit or miss because Pederson is trying to get Press Taylor a HC job...

I really enjoyed Lawrence getting 2 off sides drawn on the same drive in the 1st quarter. Was good [BLEEP].

Hopefully his knee is okay.

I agree with coach. [BLEEP] happens in football. If that play had gone for a TD the bellyaching would be largely praise.

We can play this game allllllll dayyyyyy long man. It's situational [BLEEP] football.

Your defense dictated the terms all day. Minshew had multiple turnovers on the day.

We were up 14 points with less than 4:00 minutes to go. Within easy FG range already to take a 17 point lead.

If his knee got blown up right there and he was carted off the field you would be heated.

So would the media. We got lucky in a situation we didn't need to put our QB in and we'll leave it at that.

I can’t imagine him walking to the locker room, standing and talking with teammates, then standing on the podium if his knee was in serious trouble.

But ya never know.
His knee is fine. We got lucky. I bet money the next time this team is up in that exact scenario he's handing the [BLEEP] football off and I'll leave it at that.

If it had happened I would be bummed because our season would be in jeopardy. I wouldn’t be second guessing the play because I understand that the Colts had shown some ability to move the ball and score in the second half so you don’t pull your starter when your opponent still has life.

Like Pederson said, that play works most of the time, this time it didn’t. If you’re always terrified of getting your QB hurt maybe you pull him at halftime, then the Colts get some life and then the conversation might include calling for Pederson’s head. But hey, at least Trevor didn’t take a hard hit.

You’re just second guessing. That’s easy to do after the fact. I didn’t see anyone posting to pull him when we were up by 25.
That one play where Lawrence looked to his left, and went through his entire progression... It was a thing of beauty.

Trevor Lawrence is the best QB in the league, I have no doubt in my mind. The fact that we have to put him into stupid positions that could get him injured is not acceptable.

The O-Line today played well. But that one roll out at the end of the game??? We blew them out. Why is he even playing? Who cares about his stats. Get him into the playoffs and let him shine. This wasn't the time to run up numbers.

Trevor Lawrence is the Truth. He's the Prince that was Promised. You protect that guy. A blowout is a blowout. You don't gamble with a QB as great as him.

Again. Nobody said to pull him. You just minimize his exposure.

Ultimately, we're fortunate. He's fortunate. It's easy to play the revisitionist game. I get it.

Just hope we have a better thought process in those situations moving forward.

Here’s a newsflash. The NFL game has inherent risk. There isn’t a single play you can call that can eliminate that risk. If you try you’ll make it difficult for the player to be successful. Set him on the bench if you want to make sure there’s no way he’ll get injured.
That strange touchdown was a great example of if we give Trevor time I the pocket he can produce dots
