Yes, please drag the shoes in bounds tonight when needed.

7 touchdowns in 6 games is not elite idk how you slice it.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Regardless, he's a toe drag away from at least 5 more TDs.

He’s a great young QB and ascending. He’s not elite yet. Like I said - elite QBs score more touchdowns and score more points generally speaking.

He needs some games of 4TDs soon.

He doesn’t NEED anything.

It’s not his fault that other teams pass on 1st and goal at the 2 but the Jags run it in.
That counts as a 4th quarter game winning drive for Lawrence.

Damn straight it does.

His stats weren’t super gaudy but he did it when crunch time came
All I care about is W's. Once the line play improves he'll figure it out.

People like Richard Sherman can eat a dick. Dude was out there playing on a beat up knee. With less than 3 days to prepare.

He kept drives alive with his legs. Didnt turn it over.

The [BLEEP] this kid has to eat from some of the locals and these national pundits is [BLEEP] mind numbing.

You only watch NFL Redzone?
Sherman is a dumb dumb, he clearly hasn't watched the Jags play since 2014

4 TDS… SMH. Stop playing Madden. Trevor is elite. When is the last time the Jags we’re 5-2 and you felt they could blow a big lead like last night and there was no doubt the QB was going to lead them down the field for the W?
Focus on TDs is so frustrating. If an entire drive was engineered through runs etc then sure. However, if a QB throws a 40 yard pass, its stopped on the 1 then the RB scores that shouldn't be considered bad on the QB! It's the exact same logic with running QBs where the fact they chose to punch it in with their legs is almost not factored in to their stats. Despite the fact that it's also worth 7, they did it themselves and by doing so they couldn't also score through the air.

You can definitely see why Brady and Rodgers always threw inside the 5 to pad their stats for this purpose. Same with Mahomes with the touch passes for TDs, it shouldn't matter though as long as it's working for the team.

It's similar to the Lions this year, Goff crushed it last year but they kept scoring 1 yard rush TDs. This year a few more of those plays went for TDs and his pass TD number has rocketed. His performance has been pretty similar just he's only getting the credit for the outcome.

Thing is I don't believe TL cares who gets the credit.  Also, while wearing a brace last night on turf, he picked up the team and carried them rushing 8 times for 59 timely yards.  (our leading rusher)  I don't know about generational talent and could care less about that title.  He is our franchise QB. That is way more important.

I'll say it again:

Franchise. Quarterback.

This, I don't give a [BLEEP] about stats.  Wins is all that matters.
For how bad we sucked for a long time it’s kinda wild the nitpicking he gets at age 24. He is a top-tier franchise QB. Y’all wanna roll with that or debate if he has crossed your personal threshold for ‘elite’? I know it’s a message board but we are 5-2 and have the best QB we have ever had. Be happy :-)

That, of course, was not directed to everyone.
I like the fact that O'Sullivan shows you the QB play, questions even the routes and play concepts, something he called out twice that he didn't like for Trevor.

He hypes up the anticipation throws. He calls out that we're not doing enough to get Ridley open and break up the double teams.

Put him in the slot. You take your best options on the field and you move them into roles to stress a defense.

Love it. Love it. Love it. Was saying this earlier today prior to watching the video. As far as getting the offense to be less flat.

He also points out "one and runnish". Meaning, if that 1st read isn't there he's looking to bail.

Now, while the line played well last night. Cannot overlook the other rough performances last year and this year.

Also, he has 2.2 release time. So, you have to think some of that "one and runnish" statement is more of a testament to lack of time and trust.

He can pick you apart if you give him time. He showed that last Sunday with the TD to Strange. Had all day to throw.

He's going to be a damn good QB for years to come. The fact that the out routes, timing routes and anticipation is there in his game now is promising.

As they continue to hopefully address the weaknesses within the interior though the ability for him to read and react and attack downfield will also come.

This kid is just a split second or two away from being a consistent nightmare on gamedays for defenses. His processing is good. They just have to get it done in the trenches.
