I'm concerned about T Law for the last two weeks.

It's seems as he is not seeing the field quick enough like he did last half of the season the year before.

Umm he was running for his life today
And had some absolute dots

The side step for the ridley touchdown was a thing of beauty

This. He was 23/30 today. Most of the play calls continue to be quick hitters and out routes because of the line struggles. Even the commentators are routinely calling this out.

Between Orlovsky and Riddick today. The only knock they had on him was that he missed an open Kirk for a TD. Where he flushed to his right and tried to hit Hasty.

Little was losing his leverage on the left and began to disengage his block to avoid a flag more than likely.

I know right. We lose and its end of the world, win and players are still in the wrong or playing badly. Just look at the other 31 starting QB's with 100% completion and zero picks after 4 weeks.

But Trevor's not looking right!  Wallbash

Mahomes looks like [BLEEP] tonight. He didnt play that great against our defense in week two. They'll maybe beat the Jets tonight if Wilson slips up just once.

Allen played like [BLEEP] in week one. Now he's on fire in back to back weeks with the Bills.

Big Bucks Burrow continues to bankrupt the Bengals hopes and dreams. Chase looks defeated already after his post game comments.

Tagovaiola went from basically perfect to terribly off today in Buffalo with multiple picks and a few coverage sacks eaten on his end.

Even the 3 - 1 or undefeated teams have had shaky play. Jackson puts the ball on the ground a ton. Hurts is up and down. Mayfield is up and down. Goff is up and down.

Outside of Purdy, Prescott and Stroud? I can't think of too many squeaky clean QBs this year.

People are just swept up too much in one aspect of this team. It's more complicated than that.

I don't even focus on Lawrence now when the ball is snapped. My eyes are fixated on the interior lineman first, then the outside tackles.

Your absolutely right. All QB's have had a bad game or made a bad mistake that has hurt their team. You definitely see that old saying that D's are ready before O's but O's get better as the season progresses and they make adjustments and find things that work and don't. It's a continual trial and error process.

I do like your last point too. I always find it interesting to see what part of the game people watch and focus on. From when the ball is snapped, you have so much to watch for and I agree with you, I'm more watching our line at the moment as that tells me how successful the play will be and how Trevor will do. When you see someone whiff a block or get beat straight out you know he's scrambling for his life in a second.

I can only hope with time people will finally realise we don't have to be pessimistic about Trevor and that he will suddenly turn into Bortles. The guy is elite, will only get better and as we improve and progress the roster through the years he will be a difference maker for us.

Agreed. Trevor has been the least of my concerns and worries since mid season of last year. He turned it around. He's cutback on the turnovers and he had a memorable play-off debut for the ages.

We just need to keep building around his talent and abilities. Giving him any additional time in the pocket, expanding the potential of the running game and any skilled and talented skill position players will ultimately bode well for this team in the long run.

It just takes time.

Exactly. While watching the game that was the only "miss" I could see too. He was playing really well. Orlovsky commented that Trevor throws the best out route ball in the league right now.

Trevor was great today, The miss to Kirk sucked but being flushed to his right that would have been a hell of a throw to make or even see that side of the field so I get it.

A lot better to clean these things up in a win than saying "man if we made that ONE play we would have won"

After seeing Mac Jones play the way he did against Dallas with his pick six and fumble for a TD.

After seeing Fields make his mistake to allow Denver back into their comeback victory and his shaky career in general.

After seeing Lance traded to Dallas already and Wilson show his best football after three years with the same head coach last night in a losing effort with the Jets?

We CLEARLY got the right QB in 2021's draft class. It's not really debatable anymore. Lawrence is on the cusp of greatness. He just needs a little bit more time here and there in the pocket and a little bit more chemistry developed with Ridley this year. We're right there.

Nah, 13 points is the greatest show on grass. It will be plenty against teams like Buffalo and Miami. He didn't miss 2 easy touchdowns either, or continue to struggle in the red zone. Don't let the fact that KC has more WR drops than the Jaguars and Mahomes has double the TDs fool you either. Trevor Lawrence is the best QB in the NFL brother! Don't worry at all, Trevor is on pace (checks stats) for a SEVENTEEN TOUCHDOWN SEASON!

Edit : Also, Trevor does have one of the worst(2.0) "time to throw" in the league, sure. So does Herbert (2.2), Lamar(2.2) and Tua(2.2) along with a slew of QBs in that 2.2 range. Trevor certainly could be playing much better, and my whole beef has been - IF you want to crown this man elite, I need to see it.. He hasn't shown it to any of us yet consistently enough to call him elite, or a top QB. He simply isn't right now. Good? Sure, top 10? Mayybe... Elite(Allen, Mahomes tier)? No lol.
He is due for a big game, 300+ yards, 3+ TDs. It started coming after the Baltimore game last year

Feels like we are just waiting forever though
I am concerned unless our oline gets fixed the amount of running he has to do and hits he has to wear is concerning
Jags are 2-2 with the offense still not clicking yet.

In previous years, that would be a recipe for 0-4. They’re winning games while not playing their best football.

Trevor hasn’t played his best football yet either but he is covering up so many mistakes by the OLine and WRs. That’s what makes him elite.

Burrow has been horrendous but I don’t see people on here questioning his elite status.

We're still 2 - 2. Just like the Chargers & Chiefs. Ravens, Bills & Dolphins are 3 - 1. 2.2 is still longer than 2.0. If a few passes are caught and a fumble doesn't happen against the tinhorns this team is probably 3 - 1. That's not on the QB, but, hey, I get it. Lawrence is the sucks, he's got the poo on him.

Have a good week man. We'll see you Sunday!

Don't get it twisted, I am thrilled we are 2-2, it could be worse(Colts game had me sweating for a minute). I will say, Trevor is the best QB this team has ever fielded to date and it's not close. I am kind of tired seeing all the over hyping and PFF nonsense where in year's past people would dismiss it tbh. I still do, it is a useless metric.

When you see a guy miss 1 wide open TD to Kirk, and another on 4th down where both are gimme TDs, you question if he fully understands what he is looking at out there. Sure, the defense made sure this game was never close, but against the true top tier teams in the AFC you likely won't have that luxury. The greats know what the defense AND his offense is doing. I don't expect the dude to be perfect, but you HAVE to hit the easy ones. Trevor routinely misses them. Our offense looks like it's painful to execute right now, nothing looks easy or smooth. Blame the line all you want, but the other teams in the NFL deal with it and look much, much cleaner. I do still hold out hope that Cam returns, we move one of our current tackles inside, and we gain a tick or two for Trev and the offense takes off. We need it if we want to be contending for a super bowl.

That's they key phrase though. Last year Trevor wasn't missing these reads, he also had a little more time before he had to run for his life.

The offense is in a rut and we've still managed to get to 2-2. That rut looked a little shallower this week and hopefully by Sunday we've dug ourselves out of it completely. For the couple easy TDs Trevor has missed for whatever reason. he's also had 6tds flat out dropped or WRs forgot how to even try to get their feet down. The offense is close and you can tell. But also, outside of Miami, Buffalo, KC, and maybe LAC, no other offenses seem to be firing on all cylinders right now either. We'll be fine.
I'm thinking how the Tinhorns are compensating for a beat-up O-line. Not enough game tape on Stroud yet?

Their backup linemen are winning their one on one protection assignments better than three of our starters.

Simple as that.
